The body is neither straight nor crooked, nor is it not straight either. With the breath going out and coming in, it is neither speaking nor not speaking. The excellent eyes are neither closed nor open, neither closed nor open. All is emptiness, how wondrous! The great wisdom of being and clarity. Through the kindness of the Lama himself, from then on, it becomes clear and visible. The past and the future, and the three existences that arise in the present, in an instant, one sees the path and the body. The clear light is explained as pure. With the vajra-like samadhi, at the time when the dawn appears, water moons and mirages, etc., are adorned with the qualities of illusion. Having dwelt in the heart of enlightenment, he then defeats all the maras. Shakyamuni is truly the protector. Having well obtained the supreme wisdom, for the benefit of the three realms of beings, he then shows it here. Showing the manifestation of enlightenment, that is said to be wisdom. Those who have committed the five inexpiable sins, and those whose merit is meager, other than the wish-fulfilling jewel, will also obtain it through the kindness of the Lama. One acts as one pleases, this is the future perfect Buddha. Neither attached nor unattached, nor separate from attachment, in the Middle Way, one does not fixate. Neither empty nor not empty, in the Middle Way, one does not fixate. The union of all Buddhas, like this, is well taught. That which is devoid of the three wisdoms, whatever it is, is spoken with intention. Likewise, in the chapter on the mind of enlightenment in the glorious Guhyasamaja, the verses on non-existence, etc., speak of the characteristics of manifest enlightenment. Whatever purifies desire, etc., is also spoken of in the Supreme Glory. The Tathagata himself also said that all is emptiness. In various sutras and tantras, whatever is closely indicated, in this very state of all emptiness, no other things are spoken of there. Among the eighty-four thousand collections of teachings spoken by the Great Sage, the nature of manifest enlightenment is spoken of as the essence of the essence. Matted hair, naked body, head touching the ground? Wearing a crown, gathering, abandoning, entering? Those with various signs, those who desire manifest enlightenment, those inferior ones, the order of practicing asceticism, etc., those inferior in wisdom.

Therefore, he will not attain liberation. Initially, through the union of actions, the eighth bhumi will be attained. Through the three appearances that are seen, one will be fully established on the tenth bhumi. Having perfectly attained manifest enlightenment, one will approach the pure realms. Because one does not regress from the Buddha-field, one will attain omniscience in this very life. The manifest enlightenment of the arising of Dharma, the vast play of attachment and so forth. The manifest enlightenment of the Dharmadhatu, through the conduct of how it is attained. Whatever manifest realization arises, the unsurpassed manifest enlightenment. Through conduct involving elaboration and so forth, the yogi trains here. The very nature of being primordially pure, if it is accomplished by its very essence, then what is the use of the effort of training? Suchness does not arise from conceptual thought. Whoever thinks like that here, has abandoned the stages of wisdom. Because he does not know its distinctions, he will have to train again. Knowing the distinctions of the appearance of self-nature, and even relying on the fourth, if one does not train in the three aspects, then one will not attain the result. Just as fire dwells in wood, it will not arise without friction. Likewise, enlightenment without training will not arise in this very life. Whoever is cunning, lazy, and reviles the guru, arrogantly thinking he has received empowerment, with a low mind and afflicted, will never attain perfect omniscience. Seeing faults in the guru is seeing afflictions, not qualities. Wanting to quickly attain it without reverence, becoming angry and deceitful, saying it is not the true word. Seeing the guru in the assembly, one turns one's back, and then, having gone to a solitary place, one prostrates. Thus, a student of base nature, who has become evil, even if he is one's own student, should be completely abandoned like a stranger. Even one born from a noble royal lineage, should never be kept firmly near one. One who possesses excellent qualities, wisdom, and diligence, and who reveres the guru like the Buddha. Understanding the teachings of the Victorious Ones, and having great faith in the teachings. He is a vessel here, therefore, give him kindness. Even having heard many tantras, and having studied the scriptures well, because of deficient reverence for the guru, one has not received the transmission of the scriptures. He has no power even to benefit himself, let alone the teachings.

Alas! Such treatises are merely a source of sorrow. Even if a fortunate one obtains such instructions, If one is not foolish in intelligence, and can apply its meaning, Then one should engage in teaching with the mind of benefiting others. If the words have no merit, then it will be scorned. Having heard many tantras, possessing wisdom, knowing the six places, Endowed with mindfulness, intelligence, a stable mind, and abundant diligence, Respecting the guru, and having received such transmission, One is fit to teach the king of tantras and instructions. Through the kindness of the noble Vajra, I have heard many tantras. With clear and adorned words, the path to enlightenment is fully revealed. Whatever merit the Shakya Friend has accumulated, May it become a vessel for skillful and clear ripening of enlightenment. Another distinction of names is that the entire pure and utterly pure sequence called "Supreme Intent" was composed by the master Shakya Friend, this is the second chapter. Second, the sequence of all that is pure and utterly pure, called "Supreme Intent." Shakya Friend.
