For increase, it is a Kusha grass mat that is one cubit and four fingers in width and height. For subjugation, it is a lotus mat. For wrathful activities, it is no mat, or a cloth from the charnel ground. The fire gods for various activities, for pacification, is Pavaka (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, literal Chinese meaning), whose body color is white, and whose radiance also emits white light. For increase, it is called the great powerful fire god, whose light and color are yellow. For subjugation, it is called the red fire god, whose light and color are red. For wrathful activities, it is called the wind fire god, whose light and color are black. These also have three eyes and four hands, holding offerings, and possessing matted hair. The fire gods of pacification and increase hold a short staff and the gesture of fearlessness in their two right hands, and a kundika and a rosary in their two left hands.
