Then, offer barley, rice, and kusha grass in order. Then, visualize the deity of the mandala, the fire deity wisdom being, in the heart, on top of the lunar disc, a complete wheel arising from the syllable Hūṃ (藏文:ཧཱུཾ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽). Then, recite: Om ye hye hi bhagavāna sannida pañcana samayena ca ākāśa pratīccha āhu pūjanā dam bra siddhi me. Please the deity with the five nectars. Thus, for the displayed mandala of deities, perform the empowerment ritual such as inviting the wisdom being, and please them with offerings, praises, and special fire offerings, and then gather them into one's own heart with the three syllables. Then, for the worldly protectors, please them as before with the fire offering ritual preceded by offerings, and ask for forgiveness. After assigning tasks, send them back to their respective places. Then, please the fire deity wisdom being with offering water, foot washing water, offerings, and praises, and offer three ghee lamps, and request them to depart with this mantra: Om kṛto 'va sarva sattvārtha, siddhi madattāya yathānu ga, gacchatvāṃ buddha viṣayaṃ, purāṇarāga manya yaccha muḥ. Then, for the fire deity samaya being, complete the fire offering ritual as much as possible with the remnants of the tsok and the remnants of the fire offering. If one is to pacify obstacles before the mandala, it should be done with human bone powder and a rosary of pacifying mantras. In order to pacify the disciple's sins, sit in a squatting position facing the left side, and the teacher should hold the disciple's middle finger with his thumb and forefinger, and pacify the sins as much as possible with sesame seeds and their mantras. Then, gather the fire deity into one's own heart, and these fire offering implements belong to the teacher, so others should not use them. The teacher should also use them appropriately. Then, dedicate the roots of virtue, make aspirations, and wash the inside of the stove with water. These are the rituals of the fire offering. Chapter Twenty: The Consecration Ritual Then, perform the consecration ritual around the mandala. In the early morning, the teacher, possessing all the qualities, should prepare offerings such as banners and victory banners, incense, and flowers.

One should gather the necessary implements, such as stupas, tsatsas, paintings, castings, and carvings, and consecrate them according to the ritual of the great mandala. Having pleased them with all offerings, one should pray that they remain for the sake of sentient beings until samsara is empty. Then, having pleased them with a fire offering and consecrated them auspiciously, this is the ritual of consecration. Since everything is emptiness, profound and subtle, it is not an object of speculation, and confused ones cannot know it. Therefore, in order to enter into it, this is the preliminary ritual of the two stages of skillful means. The ritual of the glorious Guhyasamaja mandala, composed by the master Nagarjuna, is complete. Translated, revised, and finalized by the Indian abbot Subhasita and the revising translator, the monk Rinchen Zangpo. The ritual of the glorious Guhyasamaja mandala, by Nagarjuna.
