Having explained that, now, in order to explain the very nature of the perfectly pure realms, it is said, "Earth, water, and likewise fire," and so on. It should be understood that this is the very nature of the perfectly pure Eye Mother and so forth, through the five great elements. Having thus explained the perfect purity of the realms, in order to explain the perfect purity of the objects, it is said, "Form," and so forth. These five, form and so on, are the very nature of the five, Form Vajra Mother and so forth. "Perfectly pure" means the five objects are perfectly pure. Having thus explained the perfect purity of the objects, now, in order to explain the perfect purity of the inner sense bases, it is said, "Eye Good," and so forth, which are the five consciousnesses of the eye and so on. "Consciousness and Dharma" includes even the sixth consciousness. "The afflicted mind of the Alaya" refers to the nature of the joints of all the limbs and the joints of all the tendons, namely, the Alaya and the afflicted mind. These eight explain the perfect purity of the eight Bodhisattvas, such as Earth Essence. Having thus explained the perfect purity of the inner sense bases, now it is for the sake of explaining the Wrathful Ones themselves. It is said, "Faith," and so forth. At any time, the desire to attain those who are absorbed in Samadhi, whether worldly or beyond worldly, that kind of aspiration is faith. That itself is the faculty, because it is the very possessor of virtuous Dharmas beyond the world. "Effort" is so called because it has become the possessor of applying oneself to that very thing. Mindfulness and so forth should be understood as the possessor of distinguishing individually without forgetfulness and without distraction. Those very ones, suppressing the mental activity of opposing factors, rely on the name of power, and therefore, those are the ten wrathful ones, such as Yamantaka. Those very ones are the very nature of the deities. "Wisdom power is unsurpassed," unsurpassed because it is the very cause of the path of seeing beyond the world. These are the ten Dharmas to be practiced, gathered by faculties and powers.
