Chapter Twenty-Five: Extensive Explanation of Answering Questions About the Realm of Emptiness Wisdom. Chapter Twenty-Five: Extensive Explanation of Answering Questions About the Realm of Emptiness Wisdom. Thus, Chapter Twenty-Four has answered the questions about the realm of the three nose tips. Now, in order to explain the answers to questions about the realm of emptiness wisdom, Chapter Twenty-Five is established. First, a brief introduction is given, which includes the statement "Then," etc. This follows the explanation of Chapter Twenty-Four. The term "furthermore" indicates a distinction from the previous chapter. The term "listen" connects the listener with the act of listening. The phrase "the nature of emptiness wisdom" is related to the phrase "will explain." How is it explained? Therefore, it is stated, "Abiding in the body," because it is based on that, one can focus on it. As it is said, "Great wisdom abides in the body, abandoning all discriminations." The term "that itself is supreme" means supreme, that itself is the ultimate aspect. The term "always" means at all times. The term "all self-nature" refers to the body that possesses the self-nature of the entire collection of channels. Thus, having shown the introduction, in order to express the direct explanation, dividing its branches in detail, and in order to explain the summary of the branches explaining the two sentences, it is stated, "All phenomena," etc. All phenomena include both knower and known. The term "nature of non-appearance" refers to the aspect of invisibility. The term "emptiness" refers to the intention of Dharma-nature. The term "wisdom therein" refers to emptiness itself. The term "great bliss" refers to the self-nature of great bliss itself, because all suffering is pacified. The phrase "the luminous one, because of purity" means that by the power of the samaya mudra, one focuses on the luminous, which means it purifies it. Thus, having explained the summary, in order to show its extensive explanation, and in order to explain the sentence of emptiness, it is stated, "Why enter the Avadhuti?" Following Chapter Twenty-Two, Avadhuti refers to the non-discriminating wind entering into it.

It is called "we." How is it understood? Therefore, it is said to be "true," which is the nature of non-reversal. The so-called "all dharmas" are, as before, the nature of the knower and the known. The so-called "appearance of discrimination" is the nature of discrimination. The so-called "cutting off all pervasive thoughts" refers to cutting off all discriminations on the realm of all dharmas, which is elimination. The so-called "resting place of the wind of discrimination" means that discrimination is the nature of one hundred and eight kinds, and the winds also cut off the same number. The so-called "resting place" means that by relying on it, one is liberated from samsara, and it is also a place of elimination. The so-called "in emptiness" is the nature of Avadhūti. The so-called "that is said" means that it has become the meaning of what is said as essence. After explaining the words of emptiness in this way, now, in order to show the extensive explanation of the nature of that Buddha-field, it is said, "This is it," and so on. Emptiness is the nature of Avadhūti. The so-called "world" is the difference in the place of the nature of the Buddha-field. The so-called "this is it" means transformation. What transformation? Therefore, it is said to be "immovable," which is the vajra of the mind, because it cannot be shaken by the discriminations of afflictions. How is it understood? Therefore, it is said to be "great sovereign," greatness is the ruler of the realm of sentient beings, that is, the sovereign. The so-called "there" refers to the emptiness of the nature of Avadhūti. The so-called "constant" refers to all times. The so-called "dwelling place" is the support. The so-called "here" refers to the Bhagavan Akshobhya. How is it understood? Therefore, it is said: He who is named the wisdom of life. This is the nature of the wind of luminosity, the so-called wisdom of life, refers to the one who has this name is called that. Furthermore, the so-called formless refers to the absence of face, hands, color, and shape. The so-called great fierce is to exhaust all the winds of discrimination. Furthermore, the characteristic of holding peace.
