Especially understanding and fully revealing the Dharma of faith, he teaches and fully demonstrates to sentient beings who have the qualification to listen, just like a wish-fulfilling jewel and a good vase, without any effort. Therefore, in order to make the teachings correspond to the thoughts of sentient beings, a teacher who teaches as it is will appear. Thus, in this way, the word of the sky is definitely expressed. The definite word equal to the sky is the definite expression of the word of the sky. What is equal to the definite word is the vow of the Tathāgata, which should be understood as what has just been said. Thus, after clarifying the ultimate truth of all dharmas, in order to clarify the difference in the means of generating the Vajra body that is commonly produced with other vehicles, it is said, "Son of lineage, for example," and so on. The rubbing wood is the wood that generates fire because it is rubbed with it, so it is the rubbing wood, that is, the wood. The rubbing base is the foundation, the wood that serves as the support for rubbing fire. The human hand is what is used to rub when moving. Relying on the causes of these three, warmth arises through effort. After the warmth, thick smoke arises. After the smoke arises, fire arises, and it burns in a state of luminosity, and then gathers and arises. The so-called fire, that is, warmth, smoke, and fire, they do not reside in the rubbing wood, nor in the rubbing base, nor in the movement of the human hand. The so-called "just like that," just like on the rubbing wood and so on, warmth and so on do not have independent targets. Nevertheless, from the collection, they themselves will arise more and more. Similarly, the Vajra vow of all Tathāgatas should be understood, because it is the abode of all Tathāgatas. Among them, all Tathāgatas are all emptiness (śūnyatā). Vajra is great emptiness (mahāśūnyatā). Vow is extreme emptiness (atiśūnyatā). The so-called "should be understood" means that emptiness is the continuation of these three, because it is recognized and understood from behind, so it is called emptiness, all Tathāgatas.

All etc. should be understood as such. "Going" and "Coming" etc., wherein, "Going" means approaching the ultimate truth with the three emptinesses. "From that," that is, great emptiness, extreme emptiness, obtaining emptiness is "Coming." The word "etc." means completely including the absence of going and coming, and for perfection, there is no entering and possessing. Having thus heard and held the extremely profound Dharma-nature, in order to declare here for the sake of conforming to the mind, in order to show that special declaration, therefore "From that" etc. were declared. From that, in that very moment, appearance arose, obtaining becoming rare, from that, realizing the Dharma-nature and becoming wonderful, opening the eyes, after the wisdom of means arose, from the Dharma-nature of self-awareness spoken of below, this word showing self-nature was spoken. In "Wonderful" etc., here the wonderful great Dharmas are the ultimate truth. Because it pervades everything, therefore that is the same as space. Because speculators cannot discriminate, therefore it is non-discriminating. Because the conventional truth is completely pure, therefore it is pure. The ultimate truth truly obscures and covers everything, and becomes the object of the eye sense, therefore it is the conventional truth, that is, the body of Vajradhara. The word "also" means "again," after the ultimate truth is realized and becomes emptiness, it appears again, what is said is extremely rare, up to this point. "Ultimate" is luminosity. "By that" it is purified, therefore it is ultimate purity, it is also ultimate purity, and it is also the meaning of that suchness, therefore it is Vajradhara, that cannot be transgressed, therefore it is the vow. That scripture collection showing the vow, is also the vow of the ultimate purity that suchness meaning, it is spoken according to the intention. In the extensive explanation of "Lamp Illuminating," Chapter Nine is finished with the explanation of the six limits. Chapter Nine, Explanation of the Wonderful Prophecy by Six Limits.
