This is the mantra for invoking the fire god. "By the union of the Buddha's crown," means that the fire god is invoked by the union of the Buddha's crown. "Blessed by all the Buddhas," and so on, these are easy to understand. Then, the intelligent one should perform the fire offering. This means that the wise yogi should perform the fire offering. There, charcoal should be placed. "Ashvattha and Nyagrodha," and so on, these are easy to understand. Padma is Padma. Utpala is Utpala. Red Kumuda is red Utpala. Fragrant means fragrant red flowers, that is, burning the five outer flowers. "Karavira is doubled," means that the Karavira flower is doubled and mixed before burning. Or, it means burning Karavira twice the amount of Padma and so on. "Said to be peaceful," means that the Tathagata attains peace through this fire offering. Om Padma Raja (藏文：ཨོཾ་པདྨ་རཱ་ཛ་，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ padma rāja，汉语字面意思：Om, Lotus, King) and so on, this is the mantra for burning lotuses. "Perform the fire offering with Utpala and milk," means that Utpala and milk are mixed and then the fire offering is performed. Om Ghagha Ghataya Ghataya (藏文：ཨོཾ་གྷ་གྷ་གྷཱ་ཏ་ཡ་གྷཱ་ཏ་ཡ་，梵文天城体：，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ ghagha ghātaya ghātaya，汉语字面意思：Om, Ghagha, Destroy, Destroy) and so on, this is the mantra for burning Kumuda and other flowers. A wooden stick measuring twelve fingers should be taken. "Undamaged" means without wounds. "Undried" means with moisture. "Uncut" means the tip is not damaged. "With holes" means having holes eaten by animals, these should be avoided, that is its meaning. "In its center" and so on, is easy to understand. The mantra for increase is spoken, Om Gaga and so on. With this mantra, perform the fire offering for increase, that is its summary. "Afterwards, pacify with yellow water." It means that after the fire offering is finished, the fire should be extinguished with yellow water. This is the fire offering for increase. "The supreme fire offering to be done." It means that the most precious is the fire offering for subjugation, it should be explained in detail. "The hearth is triangular and red." It means that the triangular hearth should be completely covered with red pigment. "The depth and width are eight fingers." It means that the depth below should be dug eight fingers. The upper part, that is, the width, should be made to a size of eight fingers. "In its center, a red eight-petaled lotus." It means that in the center of that hearth, draw a red eight-petaled lotus, that is its summary. "Adorned with a red moon and so on." It means that it is adorned with the rays of a red moon. The word "and so on" means that the entire hearth should be adorned. "Row" and so on, is easy to understand. "Self-nature Heruka" and so on. Heruka, body red in color, with two hands. In the right hand holding a red vajra, in the left hand holding a skull cup filled with blood, one should contemplate in this way. "The wooden stick of Ashoka." It means that the eight-finger-long Ashoka wooden stick, together with gorocana, should be used to perform the fire offering for subjugation. The mantra for the fire offering of subjugation is spoken, Om Ashoka Ni and so on. "Just by doing the fire offering for seven days." It means that by doing the fire offering for seven days, it will be accomplished as it is said. "Extinguish the fire with red water." It means that the fire should be extinguished with water mixed with red sandalwood, that is its summary. "Accomplishment and supreme destruction." It means that accomplishment is healing diseases and so on, to restore them. Destruction is killing the demons without devouring them, these should be explained in detail. "The depth and width are one cubit."
