Chapter One: Explanation of the Teaching on the Spoken Secret Mandala. Chapter One: Explanation of the Teaching on the Spoken Secret Mandala. In Indian language: Śrī Vajrāmṛta Pañcikā. In Tibetan: The Difficult Explanation of the Glorious Vajra Amrita. Homage to the Glorious Vajrasattva! Its entities are all subdued, immaculate wisdom flourishes without confusion. Skillful means and wisdom, great compassion, are equal in taste, therefore manifest in one and two. Māmakī and others' sidelong glances, seen by the six-legged assembly, are lotus faces. Having bowed to that, supremely blissful, the nature of the Victorious Ones, I write the Vajra Amrita. The meaning of the continuum appearing to oneself. Certainly secret, those with secret minds. For the sake of remembrance by oneself and others. I will clearly make a clear explanation. In this tantra, the Bhagavan Akshobhya, surrounded by the retinue of Māmakī and others, is what is to be spoken. The tantra is also what speaks. The need is also the manifestation of the great bliss wisdom of Vajra Amrita, which will surely destroy the faults of afflictions such as desire of beings. Thus it is said. Moreover, having attained the samadhi of great bliss, contemplating afflictions such as desire, without difficulty, beings become victorious from non-victory, and constantly do the benefit of sentient beings as the complete Buddha, which is the need of needs. Those should also undoubtedly be spoken, for the benefit of those who follow the Dharma and practice. However, for the sake of sentient beings attaining complete enlightenment, why didn't the Bhagavan teach other samadhis that are superior to this method? If asked why the Dharma that transcends the world is taught here, it is because the world has been accustomed to the net of all afflictions such as desire since beginningless time, and without detachment etc., it cannot remain even slightly. Therefore, only this method, as the cause for attaining complete enlightenment, should be embraced, and by combining it with the attainment of enlightenment through mental mantra, mudra, and inviting wisdom heroes etc., the power will greatly increase. Furthermore, desire and

Those with attachment, the bonds and the bound, are not truly established in the ultimate sense. When analyzed with reason, they are purely false. Similarly, it is also said: One should not fixate on whatever is attached, or to what it is attached, or by what it is attached, in their respective natures. For a mind without fixation, there is no fault of attachment, and so on. There is nothing to be generated or diminished, for only in a mind without attachment, from complete affliction, there is no rebirth. Those who cling to the view of self as truly existent, they will fall into evil destinies due to attachment. Those who consider the dharma of attachment and the Buddha's dharma to be different, there is no distinction between them. The letters are the same, the manner is the same, there is no characteristic. Likewise, there are no beings, and the Tathagata is not to be worshipped. If one distinguishes between moral discipline and its transgression, those who are intoxicated by the pride of moral discipline, they have no enlightenment and no Buddha's dharma, because their view is fixated on an object. Again, it is said: There is no attachment, nor detachment, one does not fixate on the Middle Way, and so on. Here, the Bhagavan Akshobhya is the teacher. Māmaki is the questioner, who is also the compiler of the tantra. The goddesses such as Shanti-ma, up to the door guardians, are the retinue. 'Thus I have heard' and so on, marks the beginning of the tantra. 'Thus I have heard' refers to the Vajra Amrita Tantra that will be taught. 'I have heard' means 'I know'. 'At one time' means at a certain time, that is, when the Bhagavan Akshobhya was dwelling in the secret lotus. 'Bhagavan' means possessing the quality of conquering the four maras. Or because of possessing qualities such as sovereignty. 'Dwelling in the secret lotus' means constantly possessing a dwelling place. All the Tathagatas refer to Vairochana and so on. Their body, speech, and mind are solely the essence of vajra. The secret of Vajra Amrita is the goddesses such as Māmaki. Their lotus is in the center of bhaga (བྷ་ག་,भग,bhaga,子宫/吉祥).

Dwelling in the excellent places is the meaning of possessing true abiding. The meaning is this: In the center of the bhaga (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) of the goddesses such as Mamaki, the Bhagavan, together with the retinue and the supreme bliss of joy, truly abides in the form of vajra nectar, which is the essence of equal bodhicitta. Similarly, the yogi who desires to manifest the yoga of the deities should also wear it. "Play," etc., means that having entered into samadhi together with Mamaki, they transform into goddesses such as Zhiba and play together. "House" means mandala. These will be spoken of: In the dharmodaya of Mamaki, etc., in the mandala possessing the qualities of the four corners, etc. Above that is a fully contemplated eight-petaled lotus, and the eight goddesses who truly abide on each petal are those with names such as Peaceful Mother. At the door are the gatekeepers such as Wrathful Frowning Mother. In the corners are the goddesses such as Flower Mother. On the silk are the goddesses such as Flute Girl, all of whom should be truly established holding their own emblems. The Bhagavan Akshobhya also abides in the heart of the lotus, having entered into samadhi together with Mamaki. Now, the Bhagavan, in the center of the consort's retinue, is truly pleased with the excellent seat and the taste of great joy, and Mamaki prays for the purpose of completely satisfying the realm of sentient beings who are completely attached to desire, etc. The goddesses, etc., are spoken of: The Vajra Nectar Tantra refers to the twelve thousand tantras, which are the means of benefiting sentient beings who love vastness. Now, for those who love brevity, they are taught separately. Nectar
