Explanation of Chapter Ten. Explanation of Chapter Ten. Just as "Your Twelve Deeds" was spoken to answer nineteen questions. It starts from "Then" etc. These twelve deeds are: pacifying obstacles etc., pacifying epidemics etc., increasing wealth, increasing the body, controlling, the hook of control, stiffness, making one mute, killing, ༄། །separation, expulsion, making one mad. Since all actions are included in pacification, only pacification is shown first. This is the oral instruction: For the action of pacification, first give the torma with a peaceful mind, facing east, in accordance with the white two-armed Supreme Bliss yogi, pacify the male with a mixture of saffron and sandalwood. For pacifying the female, use sandalwood mixed with ghee. On the white side, on silk etc. or clean cloth, on the mandala of the moon, there are two six-spoked wheels, that is, two triangular wheels. Some say that it is like an eight-spoked wheel etc. Clearly draw the wheel surrounded by the Vajra garland, and then on the six spokes in the east etc., write the six letters such as Om in order, with the head facing outwards, one clockwise, and the second one should be written counterclockwise. In the center is (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning), for pacifying the female, it is (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning). Then close it, cover the two with two new clay bowls, wrap them with white thread, and place them on the mandala made of sandalwood etc. Like the ritual, first invite the Wisdom Sattva, and offer white flowers etc. Then focus on the wheel, recite the seven-letter mantra thousands of times etc. Between the wheel and oneself, visualize the one to be subdued residing on the moon, and from the seed syllable in one's heart, a white maiden is born, holding a crystal vase filled with the nectar of wisdom in her hand, reciting the mantra (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) and initiating.

Having washed with the streams of wisdom nectar by the mind I sent forth, one should think that sins and the like, black forms, have gone forth from the anal passage, and that purity is accomplished like a crystal form. Then, again, one should think of the object to be accomplished as clear by the rays of light of the seven-syllable mantra, and recite the mantra with a peaceful mind. Thus, having done it in three sessions, until the fruit is accomplished. When the fruit is accomplished, the bowl is removed and applied to the throat and so forth of the object to be accomplished in a knowing manner. Or, the wheel of wisdom descends and is transferred to water and the like. The pacification of plagues and the like is spoken of. "Plague" and so forth. Therein, the yogi who possesses power should meditate on the wheel alone as it was spoken on the left hand. With the rite just spoken of by the other, with the right hand, with a bunch of durva grass, peacock feathers and kusha grasses, or anything else, having dipped it in water, sprinkle it on those threatened by plagues and poisons and the like, and meditate on the object to be accomplished as abiding on the moon. Facing east, sit nearby, and near his feet place three vessels filled with torma, water, and fire. There, with the thought of burning poisons and the like, recite "Che-ge-mo-la nir jvala ram nirva sham kuru svaha," spreading it forth, and act with the hands from the crown of the head until the end of the feet, and think that the white rays of light of the seed of one's own heart have summoned plagues and the like in just that way and cast them into the vessels. Now the wheel of increase is spoken of. "Saffron" and so forth, "to two bowls" means in two bowls. Therein, the condensed meaning of this is that, manifestly facing north, with the giving of torma going before, the yoga of yellow Chakrasamvara with two hands, endowed with an increasing mind, inside the bowl, on top of the back of an elephant, draw two six-spoked wheels. There, on one, with a clockwise direction, on the six spokes are the six letters. In the center is "phat bo-shta che-ge-mo pushtim kuru bo-shta svaha." Likewise, on the other, with a counterclockwise direction.
