Chapter Twenty-Nine Chapter Twenty-Nine Having prostrated to the Great-Nosed Mother. The symbols of the assembly of weapons, the essence of the Yoginis. Following, subduing, enduring, possessing names and letters, etc. That which has form is indeed the Vidya. Having gone forth in my memory, I shall now explain its commentary. Now, the explanation of Chapter Twenty-Nine is spoken. Then, beginning with what is called Yoga. What is called Yoga is the symbol of the mudra. It is supreme because it does not enter, for it is the savior of all yogas. The chief is the one who is like the wisdom that is practiced in a time without beginning, and that which is like it is called the chief. These are to be explained. What is called the symbol of weapons is the object of the symbol of signs, and that which is called weapons is to be explained. By the supreme union of the Great-Nosed Mother, in the center of the navel nadi, in the center of that, the union is said to be the nature of life and effort. The symbol of the union that is grasped, by this the mudras will be explained, is the appearance of the yoginis of the nature of the winds. Thus, the mudra is spoken of here. Beginning with what is called "in this." Here, the signs of the Blessed One's left and right sides, which were previously spoken of. Among them, the left hand is the mudra of the yoginis. The right hand is the response to the mudra of the heroes. Thus, what is called the bell is when the joint of the thumb of the left hand touches the tips of the index and middle fingers, and there, the ring finger is placed at the base of the nail of the middle finger, and the little finger is slightly extended, is the bell mudra. What is called kheta is when the arm is extended and held in the manner of a fist, is the kheta mudra. What is called the tooth is when the fist is clenched and the index finger is bent, is the tooth mudra. What is called the pestle is when the left arm is raised high and the fist is placed on top of the thumb, in the manner of a pestle, is the pestle mudra. What is called the noose is when the middle and ring fingers are bent, the thumb is held, and the index and little fingers are extended, is the noose mudra. Skull. ༄།
