Then, by how much will one die? To show that, it is said, "The years of the three qualities," and so on. Each year lasts for three hundred and sixty days. As previously stated, if the breath runs in reverse, one lives for the years of the three qualities, that is, three years. If the breath runs in reverse for six days, then the measure of life, such as these days, should be reduced. To show that, it is said, "Two years and," and so on. The so-called number of time is six months. The rest is easy to understand. The days are seven and the end. If the breath runs. For this, if the breath, that is, the breath of the nostrils, runs in reverse for seven days. Two years and likewise, one will live for six months. For this, the so-called likewise is to show the number of days, that is, ten days. The so-called live is to stay at that time, and after that it will perish. In that way, it shows that one dies in two years, six months, and ten days. Similarly, two years the moon is. For this, and so on, the so-called likewise is. If the breath completely decays, sentient beings die by six and two. It is a word that is related to this. The so-called Veda is the definitive Veda and the offering Veda, as well as the poetic Veda and the sister-protecting Veda.

Fifth, "If on the fifteenth day," etc., is a verse of the third line. It should also be applied as appropriate in other places. "Five three" means fifteen. "If in two eights," etc., two eights is sixteen. It indicates the length of time when the wind flows in reverse from the usual path on the sixteenth day. The rest is easy to understand. "If in nineteen days and nights," etc., "the mount of odors" refers to the wind, which gathers and leads all odors, like a horse. "The path of the sun" refers to the right nostril, because usually hot air enters. The rest is easy to understand. "From that above, previously shown, from the numbers, one should know briefly," means that from the twenty-sixth to the thirtieth day, one should understand in the manner of five. Or, from that, i.e., from those previously shown, one should know the above, i.e., the numbers from five to twenty-five, i.e., the numbers of the time of death, one should know there from what is shown below. "Ten and two," etc., is a brief summary of the text. Ten and two is twelve, counting by the three sets of four days from the fifth to the twentieth day. "Between" refers to the other set of four days from the twentieth to the twenty-fifth. In some texts it says, "From the calculation of ten and six," at that time it is very easy to understand. "Explaining very subtly" refers to the inner signs, i.e., the movement of the wind. "For a body with balanced elements," refers to observing a normal body where food is moderate, appropriate food is eaten, and there is no damage from internal factors, etc., and no unsuitable conditions, otherwise it will become a cause for distrust. "Those" refers to the previously shown omens of death, such as the sixth day. Now, in order to show the signs of a body that will certainly die, "door," etc., is spoken. Here too, it should be combined with "For a body with balanced elements." "Looking upwards" means that when the time comes, one looks upwards at that pulse. Or, looking upwards in the shape of a letter.
