Chapter Thirteen: Explanation of the Armor Mantra Ritual Chapter Thirteen: Explanation of the Armor Mantra Ritual Oṃ. Here, either practice the mandala of the Bhagavan Chakrasamvara in a generally extensive manner, or specifically, by transforming the deity and mantra of the armor itself into the path. Because the recitation of time and number, or signs, has been accomplished, in order to engage in accomplishing the collection of activities for that very purpose, therefore, it is said, "Then." The activities of the armor that distinguish between outer and inner are all activities and accomplishments. Whatever exists in the three realms is the essence of the outer and inner three existences: root syllables, bindus, the power of wind, and the state of seeds. All desires in the mind are fulfilled, which are the eight accomplishments together with the sky-goers. Body, speech, and mind are like vajra, with power and unobstructed arising of clairvoyance. Bless the faculties, and the secret protection will be explained in order. This should be understood from the tantras such as the Abhidhamma that have been spoken. The armor deities are the six heroes and six heroines. The main deity on the path is the embracing mandala of the father and mother. The main deity has a father and mother, and the retinue of five deities is considered to be single, and all abide in the state of having a father and mother. And, these should be understood by distinguishing between those born from the womb and those born miraculously. Therefore, in order to show the activities that are explained extensively from the concise explanation, "As the armor is repeated," means from the beginning of the clear wheel of the self-supreme deity. By reciting the vajra, placing the mantra and sound indistinguishably in the places of the body. If one enters the path of lightness, one will not be overcome by the harm of obstacles. There will be no harm from human thieves or robbers, nor from subtle spirits. Tigers and other powerful beings who are lurking will not be feared, and they will become invisible and unmanifested. This is a temporary state. Alternatively, with saffron, musk, and ox-gallstone, on an auspicious star day, draw six lotus petals on the outside, and outside of that, draw six three-pronged vajras. In the center, write the name with an imperative, on the petals write the armor mantra, and in the center of the vajra horns, Oṃ. Write six Hūṃs of the near-heart mantra, and write the mantra of the oath deity and wisdom.
