And, compassion, love, intermediate love, extreme love, accompanied by thoughts, collecting, jealousy, these thirty-three are the nature. The nature of means is attachment, intermediate attachment, complete attachment, joy, intermediate joy, extreme joy, satisfaction, extreme satisfaction, amazement, laughter, satiety, embracing, kissing, sucking, making a "wow" sound, filth, pride, action, plundering, emptiness, scattering, combining with joy, combining with intermediate joy, combining with extreme joy, intense, complete charm, fighting, scattering, clear words, truth, untruth, certainty, not approaching, giver, encourager, joy, shamelessness, agility, cruelty, untamed, very cunning, these forty are the nature. Obtaining appearance and the nature of wisdom is like this: intermediate attachment, forgetfulness, confusion, not speaking, madness, laziness, doubt, and bondage, these are the seven natures. Those eighty natures, separated by the mind of the night that appears to be taken and the mind of the day that appears to be grasped, become one hundred and sixty natures. Moreover, from the Prajnaparamita Sutra, the external mind is called mind, and this should be thoroughly understood. The internal mind is called mind, and this should also be thoroughly understood, it is said. Thus, when the two, the grasper and the grasped, of conceptual thought disappear, the two apprehensions appear, and the three are blocked by the three emptinesses, realizing the nature of luminosity that is free from sudden defilements, this is the first bhumi. Its benefits are said like this: The great yogi hero, wherever he dwells, even if he is a barbarian of bad lineage, that place is completely blessed. It is said that the most supreme yogi, the hero who realizes the emptiness of the mind, wherever he dwells, is the Vajra Seat. Even if the lineage is barbarian, he is the actual emanation body. The yogi, knowing the emptiness of the mind, is blessed by other Tathagatas.

If asked, will it be abandoned? For the sake of completely taking hold of sentient beings, therefore it will constantly abide. Thus it was said. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the past and present, also constantly reside in that place in order to take hold of the yogis who previously realized the path. Moreover, it was said in the presence of Padmavajra: One should suddenly meditate on the Mahamudra. And, in accordance with that, from the union of bindus, the direct realization of the emptiness of mind is taught. Here, it is explained according to the conduct of the tantra that is spoken of, and in accordance with the manner of gradually realizing the emptiness of the four joys. Moreover, it is by relying on the karma mudra that the samadhi of the three joys is generated, and by relying on the mahamudra that the emptiness of the three joys is realized, and thus it is transformed into the nature of clear light. Explanation of the twenty-ninth chapter is completed. Thirtieth chapter. Explanation of the ritual of the characteristics and abilities of the messenger's state.
