It should be accomplished by the functions of the eyes and other senses. The instruction for that is: it should be understood from the mouth. Therein, with the guru's instruction, the yogi first sees something like smoke in the sky, and should know through his own experience that it is not a mirage. Then, like a mirage, the smoke and so on themselves are without conceptualization, like an image. First, it is like smoke; second, it is like a mirage; third, it is like the sky; fourth, it is like a lamp; fifth, the signs like a cloudless sky are taught in the Guhyasamaja and the Dakini-jāla. Furthermore, in the Vajra-jāla of the Dakini, the Bhagavan said: "The appearance like an illusion, the trace like a momentary dream, that is the cause of omniscience, it is what bestows accomplishment." Thus, in the Bhagavan's teachings, the initial signs like smoke and so on become signs of meditation. Some say it is at the time of accomplishment, those are what do not diminish the Tathagata's vows, abandoning all conceptualizations, one should examine within a day. This would contradict the Bhagavan's teachings. At the time of accomplishment, worldly smoke and so on, and whatever illusions and so on, do not become signs, because there is actually the function of smoke, burning, and incinerating. For example, it is also like the rain of saffron, flowers, jewels, gold, and so on. Therefore, the Bhagavan has determined that the signs of the six-limbed yoga becoming smoke and so on. Thus, in the Vajra-jāla Tantra of the Dakini, it is also said: "Having meditated on the six limbs, then again, one should bless oneself. Then, in what order, one should realize the signs." Therein, blessing oneself is seeing the emptiness of conventional truth. The signs of individually gathering are appearances like clouds and smoke and so on, that is also the edge of a lamp, then it is the image of a cloudless sky without impurities. In other tantras, initially from burning to the end of the bindu, it is the Samadhi chapter of the Māyājāla.

Furthermore, as the Bhagavan said: Born from the sky, self-arisen, Great fire of wisdom and knowledge, Great light manifesting in various ways, The light of wisdom is clear, The lamp of beings is the torch of wisdom, Great splendor and clear light, Powerful mantra, lord of vidyadharas, king of mantras, Secret mantra king accomplishing great deeds. With these two verses, the illusory net and other signs, the Bhagavan also spoke with the words of his intention. That which arises from the cloudless sky is the self-arisen from the sky, because all discriminations are abandoned. "Great fire of wisdom and knowledge" means appearing like blazing. "Great light manifesting in various ways" means appearing like the moon, and only that is the clear light of wisdom. "Lamp of beings" means the light of the sun. "Torch of wisdom" means appearing like musk. "Great splendor and clear light" means appearing like lightning. "Powerful mantra, lord of vidyadharas, king of mantras" means appearing like a bindu, that is, the blue form of the moon mandala. "Secret mantra king accomplishing great deeds" means seeing with the yoga of individually gathering the appearances of the objects of the three realms in all ways, which are like illusions and dreams. The function of the eye sense, and then the binding of life and effort, with the yoga of these functions and bindings, the three grounds should be accomplished, that is, the nature of the desire realm, the form realm, and the formless realm, having the nature of stability and movement. Similarly, in the Vajra Dakini Net also it says: Sentient and non-sentient, the three realms, As long as the world realms exist, As long as those with the vajra body exist, All will be accomplished without exception. With six limbs, etc., this is the Bhagavan's determination. Similarly, in the Guhyasamaja also it says: There is no object and no meditation, What is meditated upon is not meditation, Thus, with object and non-object, Meditation is without an object. As it is said, here, the absence of object is the cloudless sky. Meditation is the individual gathering. That is, the absence of object is not meditation.
