The earth's breath arises in one hour, and after entering, it arises from the left. Instead of letting it enter, it is guided to the right. It does not stay on the right, but due to the power of entering the left, it meets the intermediate Heruka. The left should also be understood in the same way. Therefore, Heruka is called the union of four goddesses. This instruction should be learned from the mouth of the guru. Thus, when the four goddesses unite with Heruka, all accomplishments should be understood as the nature of great bliss. From the hour until the four goddesses unite with Heruka, it is called the suchness of the breath. It ignites the fire of great desire, causing the four chakras to dissolve into light, giving rise to non-conceptual wisdom. All external and internal objects are one's own mind, and understanding the mind as mind itself is called burning objects. Knowing its nature is called ཙཎྜལཱི (Tibetan), चण्डाली (Sanskrit Devanagari), caṇḍālī (Sanskrit Romanization), Caṇḍālī. All aggregates and so forth are burned. What is that? It is the mind. The mind itself is called the destroyer of all. That which is understanding everything as the nature of mind is called the descending of nectar. The suchness of mind is complete. Now, the suchness of ultimate truth will be explained. The nature of speech is not established. Why is it not established? Because the place of speech, the body itself, is not established. Why is the body not established? Because it is devoid of examination, it is not established. If that body had its own essence, then different thoughts such as attachment should not arise towards one woman's body. Because the place is not established, therefore the place is not established. For example, it is like the sound of a lute, arising from the collection of causes and conditions, therefore it appears to be without inherent existence. Towards one characteristic of an object, different thoughts arise. Yogis see it as non-dual wisdom in ultimate truth, while others see various things due to the power of conceptual thought. Therefore, abiding in non-inherent existence, compassion arises for all sentient beings. In order to liberate sentient beings, I will enter into samadhi like the guru, and after entering, I will attain the fruit, generating the mind to benefit sentient beings. The vajra-like samadhi is in front of the yogi.

In the sky, contemplate the wind mandala arising from yaṃ (藏文,यं,yam, wind). Above that, generate the fire mandala arising from raṃ (藏文,रं,ram, fire). Above that, generate the water mandala arising from vaṃ (藏文,वं,vam, water). Above that, generate the source of dharma arising from dhaṃ (藏文,धं,dham, dharma). Above that, a lotus arising from paṃ (藏文,पं,pam, lotus). Above that, in the center of a vase of various vajras arising from khaṃ (藏文,खं,kham, space), is the sun mandala. In its center is hūṃ (藏文,हूं,hūṃ,hūṃ), hūṃ (藏文,हूं,hūṃ,hūṃ), which is the nature of body, speech, and mind. From that, emanate the nature of five colors, five kinds of light, inviting the Tathāgatas together with their retinue, and the lamas. Dissolving into the hūṃ (藏文,हूं,hūṃ,hūṃ) above, from the hūṃ (藏文,हूं,hūṃ,hūṃ) to the wind mandala, it transforms into a single bindu of bodhicitta. Contemplate that hūṃ (藏文,हूं,hūṃ,hūṃ) resides within the bindu. With your own breath, invite that bindu, and contemplate the hūṃ (藏文,हूं,hūṃ,hūṃ) above at the tip of your nose. By meditating in this way day and night, signs will appear, such as mirages and so on. By meditating in this way, from the arising of happiness in the mind, one will meet the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. By this composition of the heart essence that opens understanding, may all sentient beings without exception in the three realms, whatever root of stainless virtue they obtain, also eliminate the net of conceptualization, and attain unsurpassed enlightenment! The heart essence that makes all dharmas understandable. Composed by the great teacher Boundless Light Vajra. By dividing one hundred shlokas into seven sections, all dharmas are made understandable. From glorious Hevajra, Boundless Light Vajra was given permission, and he composed these letters. From glorious Hevajra, the heart essence that opens understanding, composed by the great teacher Boundless Light Vajra, is complete. The name of the hundred-verse heart essence that opens understanding. Composed by Boundless Light Vajra.
