The Sadhana called "Jewel Flame". Composed by Prajña Indra Ruci. The Sadhana called "Jewel Flame". Composed by Prajña Indra Ruci. First, the activity of approaching. In Sanskrit: Ratnajvala sadhanam nama (रत्नज्वाल साधनं नाम, ratnajvāla sādhanam nāma, meaning: The accomplishment method called Jewel Flame). In Tibetan: The Sadhana called "Jewel Flame". Homage to the glorious Vajra Dakini! In as many places and meanings as are examined by discrimination, dwelling pervadingly and gathering them, wisdom and means, the four joys and four bindus, manifesting the four bodies and performing the benefit of beings, I prostrate! Because of being too extensive and too condensed, for the sake of the fearful self and those like it, O Vajra, the path of the order of activities, I compose the Sadhana called "Jewel Flame". The yogi who is a Shravaka and a Bodhisattva, respectfully practices mantra in order, is calm and profound, and skilled in all knowledge, making bliss by combining the mantra lineage, and the wisdom of the vajra bell, and the deity and mandala, the fire offering, and the mantra and colored powder torma, and the empowerment, these ten kinds of knowledge, charnel ground, riverside, single tree, and mountains and dense bird nests, etc., adorned with flowers and fruits, etc., after smearing with the five elixirs and fragrances, perform the approaching before the Sadhana. If there is not that, it will not be accomplished. Whatever ritual of action, by approaching closely, it will be accomplished. The essence of all that is real and unreal, to Vajra and his retinue, contemplate with offerings and tormas in four sessions. In between sessions, recite a hundred thousand or a million, or see good signs, increase the assembly, pacify obstacles, and accomplish the purpose. In the path of the order of activities of glorious Vajra, the activity of approaching is the first. Second, the activity of the earth ritual. The wise person in villages and cities, mountains or pleasant places, gardens and secluded places, the prince's house or mandala place, for the sake of drawing this supreme mandala, first examine the earth well. Water circles to the right, east and north, low white, etc., square, etc., after digging and filling again, there is excess. After digging half a cubit, fill it with water. Walk for a hundred steps. Coming quickly, thus it is praised. Udumbara, banyan, अश्वत्थ (aśvattha, aśvattha, Ficus religiosa), and palm, Bakula and Arjuna (अर्जुन, arjuna, Arjuna), including turtle-backed grassland, self.

Offer the torma with blessed substances. Then, begin to excavate the earth. In this place, I, (name), request the presence of the King of the Kyedorje Mandala. Banish the obstacles residing here. Make them depart from this place to another. Starting from the winter months, for three months, beginning with fasting, face south, west, and east, and rest lying on your left side. Raise your knees to the height of your navel and waist. Excavate from your abdomen objects that correspond to accomplishments. Discard tiles, shards, stones, small sticks, and charcoal. Place jewels, grains, and medicines inside, and then thoroughly crush it. If you are unable to do so, visualize a palace, press down with your hand, and recite this mantra: Om Hana Hana Krodha Hum Phat (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཧ་ན་ཧ་ན་ཀྲོ་དྷ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ hana hana krodha hūṃ phaṭ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, destroy, destroy, wrathful, Hum, Phat). Om Bhukham Hum (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་བྷུ་ཁཾ་ཧཱུ༵།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ bhukhaṃ hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om, Bhukham, Hum). Bless the earth as if it were the sky. With offerings and tormas, meditate in sequence and observe the signs. If it is inauspicious, abandon it or perform a fierce pacifying fire puja. Then, with the protective wheel, destroy obstacles and enemies, and provide protection. Visualize the vajra fence, tent, and canopy arising from the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hum) syllable. There, visualize a burning yellow wheel, with ten spokes arising from the Bhu (Tibetan: བྷཱུ༵, Sanskrit Devanagari: भू, Sanskrit Romanization: bhū, Literal Chinese Meaning: Bhu) syllable. There, from the combination of ten Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hum) syllables, establish the ten wrathful deities in order. Yamantaka, Prajñānta, Padmānta, Vighnānta, and the Kilaya Wrathful One like a club, the mighty Achala and the Protector, the white Ushnishachakra, and the Vajra residing under the feet. The Vajra Wrathful One, the great being, all with one face and two arms, the left hand at the heart in a fist mudra, the right hand holding their own weapon. The club that slays Yama, the indestructible Vajra club. Hayagriva is the red Supreme Power, the indivisible nectar fire offering. The Kilaya King is the iron hook, the blue-black one holds their own name. The King of Power is the trident, Achala the Protector is the Vajra, the white Protector King, visualize the Dharma wheel. The wooden stake Vajra is under the feet, standing with the left leg extended. Like the form of the blue Indra, visualize the destroyer. The indestructible Vajra, like the jewel of the fearful moon. The Padma Wrathful One is greatly red, the Vajra nectar nature is black. The boundary Wrathful One is greatly black, holding the Vajradhara on the crown of the head.
