Explanation of Chapter Two. Explanation of Chapter Two. Firstly, the Blessed One, wishing to clarify the meaning of the three self-natures to the Lord of the Gods, such as "of," etc., the meaning of which is to be clarified, hence the phrase "the prayer of the Lord of the Gods," which is what was previously entered here. The so-called "O Blessed One" is the one who has subdued all defilements such as desire and possesses supreme wisdom, the Blessed One. "What are those three self-natures?" etc., one verse, is asking about the previous meaning. In response to that, the so-called "the Blessed One taught" is what will be mentioned below. For whose sake was it taught? For the sake of sentient beings to be tamed, it should be connected as taught to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Lord of the Gods. "Those three are body, speech, and mind," etc., as such it was declared. The cause of those three is body, speech, and mind. Their purification transforms into body, speech, and mind, here in the state of sentient beings, it is causal, and the transformation of body vajra etc. is as before. Whether the body etc. are separate from the nature of mind, or as before, therefore it can also be called the three vajras. "The moon, what is the supreme bliss?" is the nature of Shakya. Sentient beings arise from that, or the moon with a rabbit arises from this. The aggregates are the five, such as the form aggregate. The faculties are the six, such as the eye faculty. Its nature is the twelve sources and the eighteen elements. The so-called element is the earth element etc. The so-called "great seal" is the completeness of the body's substance. The so-called vajra is the mind, the mind possessing its nature dwells in the body. The so-called essence is the meaning of semen, its limit is the tenets of sentient beings. The so-called "explained in Bhaga" arises from sentient being Bhaga. Or the word Bhaga is the Blessed One. This is one being the cause and effect of another. Here sentient beings are the cause. The so-called "limit and appearance, various consciousness" are the aggregates etc. The so-called "seen like the moon in water" is an analogy of the moon in water to explain the conventional illusory phenomena.
