Explanation of the First Chapter. Explanation of the First Chapter. In Sanskrit: Śrī Guhyārtha Prakāśa Mahā Ādbhūta Nāma. In Tibetan: Named Glorious Explanation of the Profound Meaning, Greatly Wonderful. Homage to the Glorious Vajrasattva! Lord of the nature of the Great Seal, The true nature of self-awareness, Free from elaboration, without body, without hindrance, I bow to the nature of wisdom's sky. From among the best of the Tantras of Action, Conduct, Yoga, Supreme Yoga, and Anuttarayoga, that itself is from the King of Tantras, the Great Seal Bindu Tantra. Whatever the glorious Guru has spoken to the disciple and granted to me, that itself is the meaning. Afterwards, from the words of the Yogini, with the power of desire and formless speech, for the sake of conversing with Vajra brothers, I have heard of questioning. That is, how the Guru has determined the order, examine well. First, briefly explain the five, such as what is said. Why is that? Because it knows the brief meaning of the Tantra, the extensive meaning, the individual meaning, and all the meanings of wisdom and what arises from wisdom. Therefore, it is good to ask the five, such as what is said. The order is this: what is said, what is to be said, the connection, the need, and the need of the need. There, from the nature of parts and bindus, etc., knowing the appearance of the six unions and below, writing the fifty-four, whatever is up to the end of what is called the name of the Glorious Wisdom Dakini, that is what is said. That is, what is said by the Glorious Great Seal Bindu Jetsun, that is what is to be said. Those, what is said and what is to be said, because of the nature of being non-dual, seeing the meaning of taming with the reality of wisdom and means being non-dual, whatever giving and also receiving of secret empowerment, etc., that is the need. After obtaining empowerment, etc., whatever obtaining the fruit, that is the need of the need. The word "fruit" is the Buddha himself. Or Vajra is the extensive explanation of the meaning of the Tantra. Whatever the connection is, ask about that. Whatever is to be said, that is the brief meaning of the Tantra. Whatever is to be said, that is the extensive explanation of the meaning of the Tantra. Whatever the connection

That is the separate explanation of the secret empowerment and so on. Which one is needed? It is the wisdom of the wisdom empowerment. Which one is the need of the need? It arises from the wisdom of the essential instructions of the fourth (empowerment). The term "arising from wisdom" means comprehending all wisdoms. That is the teacher's treatise. What is stated here by the treatise of the compiler is the tantra that briefly explains. What is to be stated is that which possesses hands, faces, and so on, which are extensively explained. The connection is the retinue of dakinis that are separately explained. The wisdom that is needed is that for those who are tamed by desire, wisdom and means are indispensable, therefore it destroys ordinary desire. The need of the need, which arises from wisdom, is that for those who are afflicted by diseases such as happiness and unhappiness existing in countless world realms, they can reach the state of great bliss. That is the explanation of the compiler's treatise in the presence of the teacher. The questioner also says this there. Since I have not heard such words in the tantra, what is the compiler's treatise like? The Vajra Master said: The nature of the five families. Hey! Vajra, it is said that in the root tantra, it is taught that I have heard such words and so on. At that time, in the midst of a non-other retinue, in order to immediately propagate all the tantras of the fundamental meaning, the great secret meaning of the Yogini's treatise. It is spoken from the secret ocean tantra called the Great Seal Bindu Later Tantra. The term "later" means previously extracted. In the nature of the glorious Buddha Samayoga, it is said that way. Therefore, the compiler did not say that I have heard such words and so on. However, the root and examination, and so on, all the tantras are the words of the compiler. For what reason? Because the Bhagavan Vajrasattva is difficult for gods and humans to obtain. Therefore, from the mouth of the Bhagavan, the compiler listened and clarified it to gods and humans. Similarly, it is not spoken by the compiler himself. The compiler here is also, the emanation of Vajradhara, the bodhisattva mahasattva who is the master of the ten bhumis.
