The third explanation of the eighth chapter: Showing the characteristics of death and transference. The third explanation of the eighth chapter: Showing the characteristics of death and transference. Having explained the characteristics of the vajra, bell, and mantra garland, the explanation of the characteristics of wisdom is as follows: Even if one has not accumulated the karma of merit, such as generosity and discipline, which leads to becoming a celestial being and possessing enjoyment, if one knows the signs of death omens for those with great sins, one can cause them to be born in celestial realms and so on through methods such as the body's wheel. Or, even if a yogi possesses generosity and discipline, if one knows the signs of death omens, one can prevent the nine winds from arising from the four seats of the vajra with mantras, or prevent them with the lion-like mudra as it arises from the Maha Maya, or as it arises from the Vajra Dakini, one can block the nine doors by gaining control over the winds. Then, one can cause the life force to enter the Avadhuti (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), exit through the aperture of Brahma, and attain the celestial realm. This is called the characteristic of vajra transference. As it is also said in the Definitive Explanation of Intention: Through inconceivable and complete actions, even if one has not accumulated the karma of merit, one can become a celestial being and a wealthy person. Thus it is said. Listen, the so-called vajra transference is that the central channel of the breath, inhalation, exhalation, and retention, the Avadhuti (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), is the vajra, and its emergence from the path of the crown of the head is the transference. Its characteristic is the characteristic of Anaha Yoga means blocking with the wheel of the body, the wheel of letters, and the wheel of winds. The good path is to generate meditative samadhi by relying on the wind of Anaha The so-called yogi showing beautiful beings means that the yogi is beautifully born among beings such as gods. Having briefly explained it like that, the extensive explanation is: What are the nine doors? This is asked in one verse. The answer given is: Because one sees that it is difficult to avert the omens of death at the time when the life force is about to perish. Listen to the true union. This means explaining the method of being born like in the Pure Abode. From the good path, a pleasing place arises.

It is said that closing the nine doors, it comes out from the crown of the head. The evil path has the defect of the womb. It is said that if the orifices such as eyes and ears are born, they will be reborn. Among them, if the bindu comes out from the crown of the head, it will be born as a deity in the pure abode. From the navel, it will be reborn as a deity in the desire realm. From the crown of the head, it will be reborn as a deity in the form realm. From the eye, it is born as a human. From the nose, it goes to Yaksha. From the ear, it is born as a deity of Vidyadhara. From the urethra, it goes to animals. From the gate of the Bodhi mind, it goes to the hungry ghosts. From the path of excrement, it goes to hell. This is explained in detail as follows: From the navel, the deity of the desire realm, etc., is not explained because it is easy to understand. The extremely detailed explanation of this is: As it is said, "Son of the lineage," etc., because of the difference in the gates of transference in the next life, there is a difference between samsara and nirvana. Therefore, if this son of the lineage is about to die, after knowing the signs of death, before being attacked by plagues, etc., he should abide in samadhi and practice the method of transference. The so-called "closing all the doors" means closing them with the illusory wheel of body, breath, and letters. The so-called "first practice vase breathing" is the method of introducing the life breath into the Avadhuti nadi. The mantra practitioner should visualize the womb of the gate of the five increasing stupas, that is, the head is (Tibetan: ལཀྵྨཾ་, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal meaning: ), the throat is (Tibetan: སྨྲཾ་, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal meaning: ), the heart is (Tibetan: ཡྨྲཾ་, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal meaning: ), the navel is (Tibetan: ཀྵུཾ་, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal meaning: ). Among them, the so-called gate of the head is to visualize the white water seed, that is, to place the letter (Tibetan: སུཾ་, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal meaning: ). The so-called gate of the place and water is to visualize the fire seed, that is, to place the letter (Tibetan: ཀྵུཾ་, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal meaning: ) in the place of excrement and urine. The so-called "breath is visualized as before," that is, to introduce the breath into the Avadhuti nadi. The so-called "the body is the color of wind, visualize the wind mandala," that is, to visualize (Tibetan: སྨྲྱུཾ་, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal meaning: ) on the crown of the head, the color is bluish-gray. The so-called "its root is wind," that is, at the root of the wind mandala, the seed is the letter (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ་, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal meaning: ). The so-called "bindu is the place with sound, it guides the seed of the mind," that is, it guides the letter. The so-called "seed of the mind" is the letter (Tibetan: ཧཾ་, Devanagari: , Romanized Sanskrit: , Literal meaning: ).
