The Third Chapter of the Seventh Section: Showing Various Mantras. The Third Chapter of the Seventh Section: Showing Various Mantras. Having thus briefly explained the Homa, the detailed explanation mentions things like "collecting the mantras of all deities." How is the collection of mantras done? From "How is the collection of mantras done?" to "Please listen," it shows the meaning of supplication. From "Granting the teaching" to "to be explained," it shows the division of topics. Having thus briefly explained, the detailed explanation mentions things like "triangle." The delightful triangular mandala is the place for collecting letters. On a well-compacted and well-plastered square ground, draw the lines of a Dharma-source triangle, and then draw a lotus with eight petals, complete with filaments. Because it is the basis for generating mantras, this lotus is metaphorically called "Mamaki." "Accomplishing all desired meanings" refers to the three types of accomplishments: worldly, common, and supreme. "Collect the syllables of the heroes residing there" refers to collecting the syllables of the heroes of speech. "Who resides there?" Differentiated by A, etc. "With, the chief of the family, the supreme of mantras," is said, which is the arrangement of the eight categories of A, Ka, Tsa, Dza, Da, Pa, Ya, Sha. Its meaning is shown as follows: it is said to be the place for collecting syllables. The eight categories are arranged in the center of the Dharma-source triangle, and forty-nine letters are placed in the cells of the pot-shaped grid, and the mother letters of vowels and consonants are placed in the mandala of forty-nine cells in the center of the palace. There are four methods: collecting by wheel (mandala), collecting vowels and consonants in order, collecting by name, and collecting by half-collection. The result of collecting is collecting seed-syllable mantras, collecting heart mantras and near-heart mantras, collecting limb mantras, and collecting activity mantras. Here, first collect the seed syllables, heart mantras, and activity mantras from the Dharma-source mandala. "Differentiated by A, etc., the chief of the family, the supreme of mantras" refers to the arrangement of fifty letters of the eight categories on the eight petals of the lotus. Among them, the first is the general collection of all Buddhas.
