Third, the commentary on the chapter of the deities. Third, the commentary on the chapter of the deities. The chapter called 'Deities' refers to the deities, namely, Hevajra and the Yoginis, that is, the union that generates Hevajra and the Yoginis as described. It will be explained from this point how it gradually develops. In the beginning, and so on, relying on compassion, at the very beginning of everything, residing in a pleasant place, sitting on a comfortable seat, and for the sake of protecting the place, oneself, and the yoga, reciting "Om raksha raksha hum hum hum phat (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)" three times, and offering Argha and so on to the Bhagavan who belongs to the painted cloth and so on by reciting one's own mantra, confessing sins, rejoicing in merits, and taking refuge in the Three Jewels, one should generate the mind of enlightenment. Then, first one should meditate on loving-kindness, which has the aspect of wanting to bestow supreme happiness on all sentient beings. In the second moment, it is compassion with the aspect of removing all suffering by those very beings. In the third, it is joy with the aspect of wanting to constantly bestow the bliss of the gods on those very beings. Equanimity is at the very end, and it should be meditated upon as having the aspect of easily accomplishing the path that becomes the antidote to all afflictions and near afflictions in those very beings. These are the common initial yogic practices of all yogas. The one who shows the body of yoga, then it is emptiness, and after that one should meditate. What is that? The emptiness of enlightenment, and so on, since all things are objects of the mind, all these are only mind, since there is no external object, it appears to be deluded as an external appearance, like a dream, it is definitely like that. In this way, that mind of the nature of appearance is also seen as the nature of luminosity without appearance, being devoid of the nature of one and many. The second is to gather the seeds, that is, how to arise from that very nature of luminosity.
