The oral tradition of the Ocean of Qualities. To the venerable Lama Jigme Drayang, because of not realizing the aspect of the spontaneously established ground, and not realizing the aspect of the naturally pure reality, they wander elsewhere than on the path of the union of these two, and the logicians speculate with conceptual proliferation. Thus, the true meaning was spoken. I think that is reasonable. The reason is that, regarding the explanation of the fundamental words, in the Uttaratantra, it is said that clarifying the limits of words and placing the meaning upon them, if these two are combined, it will be clear. That is, those who consider the ground to be spontaneously established, because they are not connected with the realization of the meaning of Dharmakaya, awareness-emptiness, free from elaboration, and naturally pure. Also, some Dzogchen Tögal Khenpos, by subduing with the method of the three essential points of the wheel of reality, the self-display of the spontaneously established ground appears as the mudra of the three pure kayas on the path, and merely seeing the bindus, channels, and garland of bindus as the determination of purification and liberation, they are unable to bring forth its essence. Therefore, the essence of the bindu is naturally pure, and the essence of space is spontaneously established. The essence of the garland of bindus is the wisdom of all-pervading compassion, these three are inseparable, the lamp of self-born wisdom of mind and wisdom, the wisdom of the meaning of awareness-emptiness, the actual Dharmakaya, the intention of clear light, and its ground or basis, the appearance of the extremely pure form body, the illusory body possessing the three wisdom lights, these two are seen as the great union of inseparability, but they are not realized, and through meditation, they are not experienced. This is the first edge. The Omniscient Great One sometimes calls awareness the lamp of self-born wisdom, sometimes calls it the inner resonance, sometimes calls it the garland of bindus, and in the end, they are just confused. Thus it is said. Also, in the tantras, it is said that the individual essence and the way of appearance, and the two parts of the cause and light, are two, two, and two. Also, although the wording is slightly different from this, the meaning is the same. In all the mantra tantras, the two kayas are the basis of practice and the result of accomplishment, with the view of the union of the causes and conditions obtained by the awareness of one's own nature, one merely gains a little certainty about the meaning of the deity, mantra, and reality being inseparable, but with the deliberate mind of meditation, the practice of the generation stage, the artificial intention of practice, and the completion stage." } ] ============================================================

It is impossible for false refutation thoughts and accompanying conceptualizations, and the two of cutting and returning, to arise simultaneously in a single moment, because beings do not possess two streams of consciousness. Therefore, by establishing the distinction between the generation stage and the completion stage, expansion is actually accomplished, so Jigling (འཇིགས་གླིང་) considered this and explained the profound clarity and appearance-emptiness, etc., in relation to each other, and through words such as "not." I think this was also said on the basis of laying the foundation of the ripening generation stage, in order to achieve the actual arising of the clear light of the completion stage. Also, those who believe that the ground is primordially pure, and through the path of single practice of trekchö, etc., although they also introduce the awareness that transcends the eight extremes of elaboration, and initially seem to reach the point through mere conceptual understanding, like a Prajñāsa who does not reside on the end of that word that is undecided, because the three bindus that serve as the basis for establishing non-elaboration are inseparable, unobstructed, and spontaneously accomplished, and have not formed an experience on the view of that suchness, the dharmadhatu awareness, therefore, it is merely the nature of awareness-emptiness, the self-arisen lamp of wisdom, clear light, and has not been able to manifest the path lamp of self-appearance of awareness, which combines awareness bindu, vajra chain, etc., with the mudra of the deity's body, through the intention of direct perception, so for those with objective minds, even if they seek the non-erroneous result of liberation from the mixture of illusory appearance and illusory consciousness, they cannot experience it, this is the second case. The third case is that because the scripture is clear and explicit, it ends there. Garab Dorje (དགའ་རབ་རྡོ་རྗེ།) said: 'The view that clings to conceptual thought is truly annoying, the meditation that relies on it is truly tiring, the conduct that arises from it is truly frustrating, the expectation of its result is truly confusing.' etc., because it falls on the meaning, the Omniscient One (ཀུན་མཁྱེན།) recognized this as being widely proclaimed. The fourth case is that in the "Supreme Vehicle Treasury" it says: 'Because the key point of direct perception heart essence is directly seeing awareness, there is no need to think it is view and meditation, because seeing the ground, there is no place to return, it is called a yogi who liberates in samsara and nirvana at the same time.' This clearly refers to combining the view of trekchö, which is the wisdom of actual awareness-emptiness, primordially pure, with the view of tögal, which is the self-appearance of the ground awareness bindu, spontaneously accomplished, the dharmadhatu and bindu. The awareness mentioned above is actual
