The Condensed Meaning of the Six Bardos: A Rosary of Jewels. The Condensed Meaning of the Six Bardos: A Rosary of Jewels. From the Net of Wisdom's Magical Illusion: The Condensed Meaning of the Six Bardos, called "A Rosary of Jewels," is present. Namo Guru Padmakaraye. Here, the essential points condensed from the essential points are: First, the first bardo, the bardo of birth and dwelling, is trained through the two practices of illusory body and generation stage. Regarding the illusory body: Train the body as illusory; speech as an echo; mind as a mist. Among these three, the first is: Place a clear mirror in front of you, and without seeing other forms, look at it. Search for what it is, inside and out. Train your mind to see your own body in the same way. Then, search for the echo inside and outside the rock. Similarly, search for your own speech and train to merge with it. Then, search equally for the three sources of the sky's clouds and the three sources of the mind, and train equally. To mix these equal and subsequent states, in all subsequent attainments, continuously maintain the intention of these three illusory meanings. The second is: Thinking "I am the deity," generate the intention of the yidam. Visualize Kunsang Yabyum (Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri) in union, naked and without ornaments, or, if you prefer and are able, visualize the complete form of the peaceful and wrathful deities. Furthermore, purify the mind by remembering appearance and emptiness as illusory. Clarify the form by not straying from the thought, "The appearance is like this." By knowing all inner and outer phenomena as deities and pure lands, train to abandon the clinging to the two selfs of person and phenomena. Second, training the dream bardo: Determine through the view that all phenomena are like dreams. In order to grasp dreams with intention, maintain a firm resolve to recognize dreams at all times during the day, and practice similarly in dreams. After a while, if you do not fall into clinging to reality, negation, or affirmation in daytime appearances, then dreams and the bardo are similar. After a while, if you can trample the top of a mountain during a dream, then the bardo will be cut off. In particular, the intention to abide in the generation stage, luminosity, etc., before sleeping also mixes with dreams. Alternatively, visualize a white AH (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城体:आ,梵文罗马拟音:ā,汉语字面意思:阿) at the heart of the guru at your heart, and by holding the mind there, pray that dreams appear as luminosity and are grasped. Repeat the intention again and again when falling asleep. By this, you will see the faint appearance of luminosity, and bliss, clarity, and non-conceptuality will arise. The thick

From the cessation of the eighty aspects of clear light nature, having separated from the faults of dualistic thick ignorance, the clear light of the meaning of reality arises and is attained. Especially, attaining without losing the state of naked clear light is a wondrous means. Third, in order to attain the bardo of meditative concentration, relying on supports such as trees, shells, and pebbles, and relying on the actual supports of body, speech, and mind, and meditating on the supports of body, speech, and mind, abiding in the seven-fold posture of Vairocana, steadfastly without moving the eyes from the place, the mind is the union of calm abiding and insight, the meditative concentration of the abiding aspect of the mind, the clear aspect of insight, or without straying from the state of knowing that there is no inherent existence. In order to dispel such faults, if there is sinking, then elevate the gaze and meditate in a cold place; if there is excitement, then lower the gaze and meditate in a warm place. Especially, with the three channels and five chakras clear in the center of the body, the right, left, and equal nostrils eliminate the three poisons of wind. Clearly visualize oneself as the deity. Bless the speech with the vajra recitation of the three syllables. Then, the blessings of the victorious ones and their heirs in front. The essence and purity of the environment and beings of the three realms are drawn from the nostrils in the form of the wind of space and placed into the central channel, thinking that the karma wind has entered the central channel. Radiating outward in the form of poisonous wind, from the A of the Dokyü, fire blazes, which is tummo. The bindu descends from the crown chakra, pervading the five chakras. Offer the five families in the five places. Obtain the five empowerments. The four joys and four emptinesses, etc., become manifest. The four obscurations are purified. Thinking that the five wisdoms are manifest is the yoga of bindus. By this, thinking in terms of bliss and clarity is the yoga of bindus. By this, one attains the samadhi of non-conceptual meditative concentration. Fourth, training in the dying bardo: now, placing the awareness of the bardo on white, red, and black, and on the three times of day, night, and in between, and on the sun, moon, darkness, etc., and recognizing them. Thinking of white, red, etc., and training in transference. That is, by being accustomed to the generation stage, on the deity's form; by the completion stage, on clear light; by Dzogchen, on original purity; or the awareness with the vajra HUM syllable, from the crown of the head to the five pure lands of the self-existing Sambhogakaya or to the guru at the crown of the head; by Tögal, from the eyes to the dharmadhatu bindu; by illusory body, transferring with the four thoughts of the bindu of wind and mind. Clarifying is according to each individual. Fifth, training in the dharmata bardo: the forms of peaceful and wrathful deities, dharmadhatu bindus, etc.
