I proclaim as if shouting at once. Furthermore, there are yaksha pig-heads, Darma monkey-heads, venomous snake-heads, Ava bull-heads, and so on. The medium ones appear as about seven mountains, and the small ones appear as small hills. Those too have terrifying forms, holding various weapons, filling the three realms with terrifying sounds. From which direction of the world do they come? At that time, the co-emergent deity accumulates the merits of good deeds and counts them with white stones; the demons who come together count the number of sins committed with black stones. At that time, you are very afraid, alarmed, terrified, and trembling, and you lie, saying, "I have not committed any sins." There, the great Dharma King says: "I will ask the mirror, the small book, and the scales." When the mirror of karma is shown, good and evil are clearly illuminated. When the small book is taken out, even the arising of white and black thoughts is recorded. When the weight of the stones is weighed on the scales, the lightness and heaviness of good and evil are clearly shown. Do not lie, those who have done good deeds are comforted and praised, and they are sent to the heavens or pure lands. Then, wandering in the bardo of existence. Although there were no eyes when alive, now one can see forms; although there were no ears, now one can hear sounds, and so on, all senses are complete. Consciousness is seven times clearer than before. One has subtle clairvoyance and miraculous powers. Outwardly, one can see all living beings, but inwardly, one is not seen by one's own kind. Going to the presence of relatives and friends and calling out, they do not see or hear, so one does not know that one has died, and one becomes angry, thinking, "Why are they not speaking to me?" Because there is no body to support the mind, the moving wind prevails, like a feather carried by the wind, and like a dream in a place full of thoughts, one arrives in an instant. There is no obstruction from mountains, houses, land, stones, or rocks. Because there are no inner white and red essences, it is like there are no sun and moon in the sky, in the bardo of light and darkness, in the space filled with the darkness of the end of an eon. Because there is no coarse matter, there are no footprints on the ground, and the body has no shadow. There is no fixed place, one arrives anywhere, such as empty places. There is no fixed support, one relies on stupas and bridges, etc. There is no fixed behavior, changing from moment to moment.

. Appearances are uncertain, and various joys and sorrows arise. Companions are uncertain, accompanying all who live and die. Food is uncertain, satisfied only by smell and incense. At that time, I wondered what had happened to me, feeling confused and anxious, and then I realized that I was dead, fainting in fear. After some time, waking up, I thought about what to do now, feeling intense pain as if thrown on a dry riverbed. Sometimes the messengers of Yama, the lord of death, wielding weapons, and sometimes chased by the beings I had killed before, I fell into a huge cliff as high as Mount Sumeru, gray, black, and fiery red, experiencing the suffering of appearances. Again, every seven days, I repeated the suffering of dying from each of the causes of death that had occurred before. I was chased and grabbed by creditors of property and debts, by the beings I had killed, by bears and creditors, and if caught, I was eaten piece by piece, suffering. Again, I went to the side of relatives and all loved ones, saying to them, "Don't cry, I'm here," but they couldn't hear me, and I felt pain thinking that I must be dead now. I thought about how I could get a body, so I went everywhere to look for a body. Again, I wondered if my previous body was still there, so I went back to look for it, but I couldn't find a place to settle, and I felt pain. The body was burned by fire, carried away by water, eaten by insects, and no longer existed, and even seeing it would bring joy. Because I had no body, I felt pain, so I squeezed myself into all the mountains, rocks, land, and stones. Because of extreme fear, I went to the lamas and places of offering, but they couldn't see me, and I didn't get any help, and I felt disappointed. Arrogance arose towards the lamas and places of offering, etc., and the consciousness of the bardo perceived appearances nine times faster, giving rise to wrong views and hatred, and feeling stingy and angry about others obtaining my property. Thus, the bardo of existence is extremely painful, lasting a total of twenty-five days. Then, in the deluded bardo, the body borrows from the five elements, experiencing the appearance of the sky, the suffering of the body falling like into a cliff, lasting for five days. Then, the appearance of the earth, the body being trapped underground, and the suffering of being crushed under a mountain, also lasting for five days. Being carried away by a great flood, staying cold in the water for five days. In a great fire for five days.
