The Condensed Liberation Sutra: Purifying Sins through Repentance. Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Thus I have heard, at one time, the Blessed One was in the great city of Rajagriha, together with eighty-four thousand monks and sixty-three thousand Bodhisattvas. At that time, among the assembled retinue, there were eighty-six thousand great deities, including Indra and others, who vowed to protect and guard with their heads the places where those who recite, uphold, and read the Sutras reside. The Bodhisattva Mahasattva rose from his seat with faith and reverence, and said to the Blessed One: "I have heard that proclaiming the name of the Buddha Ratnaketu to sentient beings at the moment of death cuts off the gates of the lower realms and leads to rebirth in the heavenly realms. For the benefit of sentient beings, please, O Blessed One, briefly teach the names and blessings of the Buddhas of the ten directions and the Three Jewels." After this request, the Blessed One said: "Noble son, well done, well done! I will teach you. Listen carefully and keep it in mind. Homage to the Buddhas of the ten directions and three times who reside in the Great Liberation Sutra, homage to the twelve divisions of the scriptures, homage to those who possess the names of the great Sangha of Bodhisattvas. Namo Buddha (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思) etc., can be recited in brief. Homage to the thirty-three thousand Buddhas who appeared in the Auspicious Aeon. Homage to the hundred million billion Buddhas of Great Perfection. Homage to the hundred million billion Buddhas of Joyful Sight. Homage to the sixty thousand Buddhas endowed with joy and delight. Homage to the countless Buddhas of the past, as numerous as the grains of sand in the Ganges River. Homage to the twelve perfect great teachers, the Buddhas who are presently dwelling. 对百千俱胝（ཕྲག་བརྒྱ་ལ་，俱胝，梵文：koṭi，梵文罗马拟音：koṭi，一千万）顶礼！ 对贤劫千佛顶礼！ 对现在安住的无量佛陀，如恒河沙数俱胝之数相等者，顶礼！ 供养，皈依！ 对未来将要到来的佛陀文殊光顶礼！ 对以佛陀光之名号庄严的二万佛顶礼！ 对名号相同的一切吉祥三万佛顶礼！ 对光不变的四万八千佛顶礼！ 对光芒种种显现的八十万俱胝佛顶礼！ 对莲花光五百佛顶礼！ 对未来未到的佛陀，与恒河无量沙数之数决定相等者，顶礼！ 供养，皈依！ 对大乘佛法十二部经顶礼！ 对近侍八大菩萨顶礼！ 对贤劫十六菩萨顶礼！ 对安住于十地五道的一切众生顶礼！ 对安住于十方四时的一切众生顶礼！ 对菩萨恒河沙数俱胝八千无量之数的沙数俱胝顶礼！ 供养，皈依！ 若对彼等三宝顶礼，则俱胝百千劫的一切罪业清净，于彼等之数不生于地狱。 不属于三有之界，而属于解脱之界。 将具足律仪之戒。 大乘之行道美妙，且将见到佛陀之自性。 因此恭敬顶礼！ 当宣说彼等三宝之名号时，俱胝百千菩萨将获得不生之法忍，将通达无量陀罗尼之门，安住于不退转地，无量天人将获得果位。 究竟而言，以系于一宝之力的缘故而说为三，听闻彼之名号后，从内心忆念，临终时，善知识令念诵三遍：那摩 布达雅（藏文：ན་མོ་བུདྡྷ་ཡ，梵文天城体：नमो बुद्धाय，梵文罗马拟音：Namo buddhāya，皈依佛陀），那摩 达摩雅（藏文：ན་མོ་དྷརྨ་ཡ，梵文天城体：नमो धर्माय，梵文罗马拟音：Namo dharmāya，皈依法），那摩 僧伽雅（藏文：ན་མོ་སངྒྷ་ཡ，梵文天城体：नमो सङ्घाय，梵文罗马拟音：Namo saṅghāya，皈依僧伽），则此人不会堕入三恶道，将投生于十方任何有信的地方，将见到一切佛陀和菩萨并承侍。

I prostrate to hundreds of millions of kotis! I prostrate to the thousand Buddhas of the Fortunate Aeon! I prostrate to the countless Buddhas who are now abiding, equal to the number of grains of sand in the Ganges River, multiplied by kotis! I offer and take refuge! I prostrate to the Buddha Manjushri Light who will come in the future! I prostrate to the twenty thousand Buddhas adorned with the name of Buddha Light! I prostrate to the thirty thousand Buddhas with the same name, All-Glorious! I prostrate to the forty-eight thousand Unchanging Light Buddhas! I prostrate to the eighty million kotis of Buddhas who manifest light in various ways! I prostrate to the five hundred Lotus Light Buddhas! I prostrate to the future Buddhas who have not yet come, whose number is definitely equal to the number of countless grains of sand in the Ganges River! I offer and take refuge! I prostrate to the great Dharma, the twelve divisions of scripture! I prostrate to the eight close sons, the Bodhisattvas! I prostrate to the sixteen Bodhisattvas of the Fortunate Aeon! I prostrate to all who abide in the ten bhumis and five paths! I prostrate to all who abide in the ten directions and four times! I prostrate to the kotis of Bodhisattvas, as many as the grains of sand in the Ganges River, multiplied by kotis, eight thousand immeasurable! I offer and take refuge! If one prostrates to these Three Jewels, all the sins of hundreds of thousands of kotis of kalpas will be purified, and one will not be born in hell for that number of lifetimes. One will not belong to the realm of the three realms, but will belong to the realm of liberation. One will possess the vows of discipline. The path of the Great Vehicle will be beautiful, and one will see the nature of the Buddha. Therefore, I prostrate with reverence! When these names of the Three Jewels are spoken, hundreds of millions of Bodhisattvas will obtain the forbearance of non-arising dharmas, will master the gates of limitless dharanis, will abide in the irreversible ground, and countless gods and humans will obtain the fruit. Ultimately, because of the power of relying on one Jewel, it is spoken of as three. Having heard its name, and remembering it from the depths of one's heart, at the time of death, if a virtuous friend causes one to recite three times: Namo Buddhaya (藏文：ན་མོ་བུདྡྷ་ཡ，梵文天城体：नमो बुद्धाय，梵文罗马拟音：Namo buddhāya，皈依佛陀), Namo Dharmaya (藏文：ན་མོ་དྷརྨ་ཡ，梵文天城体：नमो धर्माय，梵文罗马拟音：Namo dharmāya，皈依法), Namo Sanghaya (藏文：ན་མོ་སངྒྷ་ཡ，梵文天城体：नमो सङ्घाय，梵文罗马拟音：Namo saṅghāya，皈依僧伽), then that person will not go to the three lower realms, and will be born in any field of the ten directions where there is faith, and will see and serve all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
