Having paid homage to the King of Nectar, he taught the method of compounding nectar. All the Tathagatas entered into the intention of accomplishing nectar. All the Tathagatas entered into the intention of accomplishing nectar. Then, the King of Nectar taught this method of compounding nectar and bestowed teachings. First, a place of perfect abundance, a joyful and unobstructed place, should be sought and made one's own. Then, to protect oneself, with perfect implements, one should repel the obstructing enemies and demons. Then, the various implements for accomplishment, including the implements for food and sustenance, the implements for the vows of accomplishment, and the implements for medicine to avert obstacles. Inside five charnel ground skulls, one should place a great amount of oil lamps, making five hundred lamp wicks. Having filled five hundred lamp wicks, then one should begin the accomplishment, and the complete actions are fourfold. In the time of pacification, one should look to the north. In the time of gana, one should look to the west. In the time of great power, one should look to the south. In the time of increase, one should look to the east.
