Then, the Blessed One traveled through the land of Vriji, and arriving at the city of Vaishali, resided in the mango-guarded garden of the city of Vaishali. Then, the Blessed One said to the Venerable Ananda: "Ananda, go to the city of Vaishali, and having gone, place your feet on the threshold of the gate, and recite these foundations of secret mantras and these verses: Visarata, Visarata, Visarata, Visarata.
