And, it is to truly understand the unwavering. Mind is the realm of various objects. The Alaya consciousness is the great liberation of wisdom, it is the Dharma of the Buddha. The name is called the treasury of emptiness. If someone wants to build a new house, or move into a new house, and wants auspiciousness, reciting the "Eight Lights Sutra" three times will bring auspiciousness. Writing, reciting, or chanting the "Eight Lights Sutra" will result in possessing immeasurable accumulations of merit. When this Dharma Sutra was taught, the Bhikshu father, the Bhikshuni mother, the Upasaka father, the Upasika mother, and sixty-six thousand people obtained the stainless Dharani. The earth also shook in six ways. Countless gods, nagas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, yakshas, humans, and non-humans, etc., obtained the pure Dharma eye. They practice the Dharma of Bodhisattvas. Eighty-one thousand ordinary beings obtained the fruit of Arhat. After the Bhagavan spoke thus, all the supreme Bodhisattvas and others rejoiced and praised what the Bhagavan had said. The Sutra of the Great Vehicle called "Noble Eight Lights" is completed. The Buddha's teaching, the bright and vast Sutra called "Eight Lights".
