应当于法的处所知晓。应当于如来之佛塔知晓。此后，法王阎罗于夜晚天亮之时，前往世尊处，以天上的花朵、衣物、饰品等供养世尊，并进行敬奉。他绕世尊七圈后，触碰世尊之足，禀告道：世尊，此陀罗尼威力强大，利益甚大。世尊，我亦恒常不断地为了该有情而随行，并处处守护、完全救护。愿能安住于此。愿能使有情远离一切地狱。世尊，我将报答恩情，绝不忘恩负义。此后，四大天王绕世尊三圈，向世尊禀告道：世尊，请详细解说此陀罗尼的仪轨，以及应行仪轨的方式。随后，世尊对四大天王说道：谛听，我将解说此陀罗尼的行事方式。为了短命有情的缘故，善男子或善女子于每月十五月圆之日沐浴后，念诵一千零八遍，如此一来，该寿命将尽的有情，其寿命得以延长，并远离一切疾病。一切业障皆得清净。有情将从地狱等一切恶趣中完全解脱。乃至对于已堕入畜生道的众生，应在其耳边宣说此陀罗尼之声，应当知晓这是其恶趣的最后一次。若有人为重病所困扰，被医生们诊断为绝症，亦能从此病中完全解脱。其于恶趣中的一切转生都将断绝。死后亦将往生至极乐世界。应当知晓，那将是其胎生之处的最后一次。无论转生于何处，都将从莲花中化生。一切生世都能忆

It should be known in the place of Dharma. It should be known in the stupa of the Tathagata. Then, the Dharma King Yama, at dawn after night, went to the place where the Bhagavan was. He offered flowers, clothes, ornaments, and so on to the Bhagavan, and paid homage. He circumambulated the Bhagavan seven times, touched the feet of the Bhagavan, and said: "Bhagavan, this dharani is powerful and greatly beneficial. Bhagavan, I will always follow that sentient being without interruption, and I will always protect and completely save them. May I abide here. May I avert sentient beings from all hells. Bhagavan, I will repay kindness, and I will not be ungrateful." Then, the four great kings circumambulated the Bhagavan three times and said to the Bhagavan: "Bhagavan, please explain in detail the ritual of this dharani and the manner of performing the ritual extensively." Then, the Bhagavan said to the four great kings: "Listen, I will explain the manner of performing this dharani. For the sake of short-lived sentient beings, a son or daughter of good family, having bathed on the fifteenth day of the full moon, should recite it one thousand and eight times. By doing so, the life of that sentient being whose life is exhausted will be prolonged, and they will be free from all diseases. All obscurations will be completely purified. Sentient beings will be completely liberated from all evil destinies, including hell. Even for a creature that has gone to the animal realm, the sound of this dharani should be proclaimed in its ear, and it should be known that this is the last of its evil destinies. If someone is afflicted by a serious illness and doctors have diagnosed it as terminal, they will also be completely liberated from that illness. All their births in evil destinies will be cut off. After death, they will also be born in the Pure Land of Bliss. It should be known that that will be the last time they are born from a womb. Wherever they are born, they will be born miraculously from the heart of a lotus. In all lifetimes, they will remember

Translation complete. For the sake of all sentient beings who commit evil deeds and have reached the time of death, recite this dharani twenty-one times over mustard seeds, and then scatter them upon their ashes. Even if they have been born in hell, or in the realm of animals, or in the world of Yama, or as pretas, or in any other evil realms, they will be liberated from those evil realms by the power of this dharani. Having been liberated from those realms, they will also be born in the heavens. Whoever recites this twenty-one times each day will become worthy of offerings from many worlds, will have a long life, will experience happiness, will always be full of joy, and will attain great nirvana. After death, they will also be born in the Pure Land of Sukhavati. Thereafter, they will also go to various different Buddha-fields. There they will meet all the Tathagatas. All the Tathagatas will also inspire them. All the Tathagatas will also prophesy for them. In all the Buddha-fields, they will also illuminate the world. By this method, O Lord of the Gods, all beings will be completely liberated from all evil realms, including the hells. All their destinations will be completely purified, and they will also have long lives. O Lord of the Gods, go and teach and proclaim this dharani to the son of the gods, whose wisdom is exceedingly firm. O Lord of the Gods, in seven days, all the destinations of the son of the gods, the exceedingly firm one, will be completely purified and they will have long lives, and they will become powerful. Then, the Lord of the Gods, Indra, received this teaching from the Tathagata, and having gone to his abode, gave this dharani to the son of the gods, the exceedingly firm one. Then, that son of the gods, having diligently practiced this dharani day and night for six days until the seventh day, all his aspirations were completely fulfilled, like this: "Completely liberated from the evil realms, abiding on the path of the happy realms, and also having become long-lived.
