Bind the boundaries with mustard seeds and juniper pegs, etc. For all epidemic diseases, tie a protective thread. For all diseases, either with ghee, or with black oil, or with water, recite completely and then give. For diseases that spread throughout the body, cut with weapons and also tie a protective thread. For stomach pain, relieve it with salt water, or with mud paste, or also with water. For eye diseases, tie a white thread to the ear. For tooth diseases, brush teeth with a toothbrush made of karavira. When binding boundaries, recite the five-colored thread twenty-one times, tie it to four juniper pegs, and insert them in the four directions, then the boundary is bound. At all times, do it with a protective thread, or water, or ashes. For all planets, do it with a five-colored thread. For all epidemics, do it with a white thread. For snakes and, worms and, caterpillars and mice and, measles and, throat blockage, do it with honey and long pepper. For eye diseases, do it with fragrant water, or Tibetan fennel water, or honey, or licorice. At all times of disputes, for disputes and, saying unpleasant words, recite completely over water and wash the face. For the harm of kings of other countries, place full vases properly around the country, the clean person wears clean clothes, makes great offerings and recites, then it will become very peaceful. By sprinkling with that water, all sentient beings are protected. All nearby harms and, epidemics will be pacified. By reciting twenty-one times on the sandalwood seal's drop, all the five heinous crimes will be exhausted. If recited constantly, it will protect the household. By the lotus homa, all sentient beings are protected. By the sandalwood homa, the planets and, spirits and, all constellations are protected. Victorious and, completely victorious and, invincible by others and, Naguli and, fragrant Naguli and, Dharani and, fearless hand and, powerful hand and, fragrant Priyangu and, Takara and, wheel and, great wheel and, completely suppressing and, Somaraji and, called Sunatta, recite any of those one hundred and eight times, make it like a jewel, and place it on the head.

It should be tied to the neck and arms. For children, it should be around the throat. If women wear it on their hips, they will become extremely fortunate. Without decline, it will also grant children. By wearing this jewel, protection is ensured in all aspects. Poison and fire cannot harm it. Harm caused by poison will not arise. Diseases will not arise, and they will quickly subside. The planets will be completely pacified. Wind, clouds, and hail will be frozen by water. All actions can be accomplished with the twigs of Karapira. Even without practice, these actions can be accomplished simply by this supremely accomplished essence of the noble Avalokiteshvara. If one wishes to practice, the thangka ritual is as follows: using all colors of paint, draw an image of the Buddha's body, and the noble Avalokiteshvara, wearing a crown of matted hair, covering the lower body with deer skin, having the appearance of a herdsman, adorned with all kinds of ornaments. The artist should be one who observes vows to draw the image. Then the practitioner, in front of the image, should make a mandala with cow dung, and scatter white flowers. Place eight vases filled with fragrant water. Prepare eight items for near use, sixty-four items for near need, and bloodless torma with meat. Burn agarwood incense and recite eight thousand vidyas. Fast for one day and one night, or eat the three whites (milk, yogurt, butter), bathe three times, and recite after wearing clean clothes. Then, looking at the image drawn of oneself in front of the statue, one will be happy to see it. Until the noble Avalokiteshvara appears and fulfills all wishes. Recite over camphor or eye medicine, and apply it to the eyes, from then on one will become invisible and will be able to walk in the sky. One will attain the samadhi called "Assembly of True Non-Confusion." Whatever the practitioner desires, they should do it with this. Thus spoke the Bhagavan. And the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the noble Avalokiteshvara, and those monks, and the Bodhi.

Those Bodhisattvas, and those sons of gods of the Pure Abodes, the world with gods, humans, asuras, and gandharvas rejoiced and highly praised what the Bhagavan had spoken. Thus concludes the Great Vehicle Sutra called "The Essence of the Noble Amoghapāśa".
