Or anything else, Yakshas, Kumbhanda ghosts, Rakshasas, etc., will not create any obstacles. For the one who recites this dharani, whether it is the lord of the desire realm, or the evil demon, will not create any obstacles. For the one who holds this dharani, their parents, brothers, sisters, friends, and relatives will not fall into evil paths. Therefore, whoever hears this dharani sutra, the one who recites this dharani, should not have any fear. For the one who holds this dharani, the karmic obscurations accumulated in millions of kalpas will be purified within seven days. The merits accumulated by the Bodhisattva in millions of kalpas, the one who holds this dharani, will surpass them within seven days. The guardians of the four directions, the four great kings, protect the body and the country, with kind eyes and nobility, possessing beauty and fame, along with their retinue and ministers, they will also always protect the one who recites this dharani. After the Blessed One spoke thus, the venerable Ananda and the great Shravakas, as well as the noble Maitreya and Manjushri and other Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, the four great kings, gods, humans, Asuras, and Gandharvas, and all the beings of the world rejoiced and praised what the Blessed One had said.
