བཱ་ན། ཨཱཪྱ་ཨ་བ་ལོ་ཀི་ཏེ་ཤྭ་རཱ་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། འདི་ནི་བདག་གི་སྙིང་པོ་བཤད་པ་སྟེ།དེས་བདག་དགུག་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེའི་འོག་ཏུ་ཟླ་བ་ཡར་གྱི་ངོས་ཚེས་བརྒྱད་ནས་བཟུང་སྟེ་ཉའི་བར་དུ་ལན་བརྒྱ་རྩ་བརྒྱད་བཟླས་བརྗོད་བགྱིས་ཏེ། དུས་གསུམ་དུ་བཟླས་བརྗོད་བགྱི་དུས་གསུམ་དུ་ཁྲུས་བགྱི། དུས་གསུམ་དུ་གོས་བརྗེ་བར་བགྱིའོ། །དེ་ནས་ཚེས་བཅྭ་ལྔ་ལ་མཆོད་པ་ཆེན་པོ་བགྱིས་ཏེ། བཟླས་བརྗོད་དཔག་ཏུ་མ་མཆིས་པར་བགྱིའོ། །འོན་ཀྱང་ནམ་གྱི་གུང་ཐུན་ལ་འཕགས་པ་སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་དབང་ཕྱུག་གསེར་གྱི་ཁ་དོག་གི་ལུས་དང་ལྡན་པ། མཚན་དང་དཔེ་བྱད་བཟང་པོས་ལེགས་པར་བརྒྱན་པ། ལུས་ལས་འོད་ཟེར་བྱེ་བ་སྟོང་འབྱིན་ཅིང་མཆི་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེ་ལ་རིག་སྔགས་འཆང་གིས་སྐྲག་པར་མི་བགྱི་ཞིང་བརྟན་པར་བགྱིས་ན་མཐོང་མ་ཐག་ཏུ་ས་ཐོབ་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །གཟུངས་དང་ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན་ཀྱང་ཐོབ་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ཤར་ཕྱོགས་སུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་མི་འཁྲུགས་པ་མཐོང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །ལྷོ་ཕྱོགས་སུ་རིན་ཆེན་ཏོག་དང་། ནུབ་ཕྱོགས་སུ་འོད་དཔག་མེད་དང་། བྱང་ཕྱོགས་སུ་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་རྔ་སྒྲ་མཐོང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེ་ལ་སོགས་པ་ཕྱོགས་བཅུའི་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་གྲངས་མེད་དཔག་ཏུ་མེད་པ་དག་རིགས་པའི་ཚུལ་གྱིས་མཐོང་བར་འགྱུར་རོ། །འདི་ནས་ཤི་འཕོས་ནས་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀྱི་ཞིང་ཡོངས་སུ་དག་པ་རྣམས་སུ་སྐྱེ་བར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། ཐམས་ཅད་དུ་ཡང་སངས་རྒྱས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་རྣམས་མཉེས་པར་བགྱིད་པར་འགྱུར་རོ། །དེ་སྐད་ཅེས་བཀའ་སྩལ་ནས། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཆེན་པོ་འཕགས་པ་སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་དབང་ཕྱུག་དང་། བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་དེ་དག་དང་། གནས་གཙང་མའི་རིས་ཀྱི་ལྷའི་བུ་རྣམས་དང་། ཐམས་ཅད་དང་ལྡན་པའི་འཁོར་དེ་དང་། ལྷ་དང་། མི་དང་། ལྷ་མ་ཡིན་དང་། དྲི་ཟར་བཅས་པའི་འཇིག་རྟེན་ཡི་རངས་ཏེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་གསུངས་པ་ལ་མངོན་པར་བསྟོད་དོ། །འཕགས་པ་ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་པོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་གཟུངས་རྫོགས་སོ།། །།རྒྱ་གར་གྱི་མཁན་པོ་ཛི་ན་མི་ཏྲ་དང་། དཱ་ན་ཤཱི་ལ་དང་། ཞུ་ཆེན་གྱི་ལོཙྪ་བ་ བནྡེ་ཡེ་ཤེས་སྡེས་བསྒྱུར་ཅིང་ཞུས་ཏེ་སྐད་གསར་ཆད་ཀྱིས་ཀྱང་བཅོས་ནས་གཏན་ལ་ཕབ་པ།། འཕགས་པ་ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་པོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་གཟུངས།

Vāṇa! Ārya Avalokiteśvarāya Svāhā! This is the essence of my (Avalokiteśvara's) words, it will summon me. After that, from the eighth day of the waxing moon until the fifteenth, recite one hundred and eight times. Recite for three periods, bathe for three periods, and change clothes for three periods. Then, on the fifteenth day, make great offerings and recite countless times. However, at midnight, the noble Avalokiteśvara, possessing a golden body, adorned with excellent marks and signs, will emit billions of rays of light from his body. To this, the mantra holder should not be afraid, and if steadfast, one will attain the ground immediately upon seeing him. One will also obtain dhāraṇī and samādhi. In the east, one will see the Tathāgata Akshobhya. In the south, one will see Ratnaketu, in the west, one will see Amitābha, and in the north, one will see the Tathāgata Dundubhisvara. Like that, countless and immeasurable Tathāgatas of the ten directions will be seen in a rational manner. After dying from here, one will be born in completely pure Buddha-fields, and everywhere one will please all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Having spoken thus, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Noble Avalokiteśvara, and those Bodhisattvas, and the sons of the gods of the Pure Abodes, and that retinue with all, the world with gods, humans, asuras, and gandharvas rejoiced and praised the words spoken by the Bhagavat. The Noble Samantabhadra Dhāraṇī is complete. Translated and revised by the Indian Abbot Jinamitra, Dānaśīla, and the reviser translator Bande Yeshe De, and finalized after being revised with new language.
