This is the mantra for invoking the arrival of Holy Avalokiteshvara. Having recited this vidya-mantra one hundred and eight times over black guggul incense, offer it to Holy Avalokiteshvara. Merely through the incense, Holy Avalokiteshvara will manifest in form and bestow all that is supreme. If even one who commits the five heinous crimes and is immersed in Avici hell will surely be shown (Avalokiteshvara) merely through the incense, what need is there to mention a monk who practices celibacy well, whose mind is pure, who is faithful, and who has devotion? Merely through the incense, he will manifestly show his own form, his own completely pure essence, and bestow all that is supreme, and bestow the great accomplishment of meaningfulness. If incense is offered to a wrathful one, the form will manifestly stand before one, and he will bestow all desired and needed accomplishments. If incense is offered to the son of Sredmed, the image will move and utter words, and he will completely fulfill all that is thought in the mind. He will always follow, and bestow the accomplishment of strength, power, diligence, and subduing others. If incense is offered to the great black one in the place of the Mamos, the great black one, together with the assembly of Mamos, will be subdued and remain, and all works and activities will be accomplished.

It leaps, and accomplishes great achievements in all places. If incense is offered to the Lord of Hosts, all obstacles and false guides will be bound. If incense is offered to the Lord of Desire, then all hatred, malice, and other obstacles will be bound and disappear. If incense is offered at the gate of a king, then the king's consort and retinue will be summoned and subdued, and the attendants will do all that is desired and done. When the sun rises, if incense is offered facing the sun, the sun will descend and bestow all desired accomplishments. If incense is offered to the moon, the moon will descend and bestow great power and wealth. If incense is offered to the son of Vaishravana, it will bestow great increase of wealth. If incense is offered to the great goddess Shri, one will obtain good fortune. If incense is offered to all demons, they will descend merely by the incense and flee in all directions. If incense is offered to those who are subdued or not subdued, they will come quickly. If incense is offered to a corpse in a charnel ground, the corpse will rise. If incense is offered to a skull, it will descend and dance, sing, run, and make strange noises. If incense is offered to a vajra, it will blaze. If incense is offered to a trident, it will cause it to descend. If incense is offered to a wheel, it will travel in the sky. If incense is offered to a rope, it will coil like a snake. If incense is offered to pottery and bottles, it will cause them to descend, transform themselves, and move to and fro. If incense is offered to a begging bowl, it will cause itself to travel. If incense is offered to a sword, it will cause it to descend and blaze, and itself will stop. If incense is offered to a conch shell and blown, then wherever the sound is heard, all fighting, battles, disputes, gambling, plagues, harm, infectious diseases, riots, all diseases, all afflictions, sins, all malice, and all enemies will be liberated, and all obscurations will be exhausted. If incense is offered to all plagues, all plagues will be pacified. If incense is offered to a four-day plague, and the secret mantra is also remembered, the four-day plague will scream and flee. If incense is offered to a Naga's lake, it will immediately cause a great rain to fall.
