Always bestowing all happiness, and the practice and summoning of all non-lords, inviting all gods and nāgas, and completely destroying all yakshas and rākshasas, as well as māras, bhūtas, flesh-eaters, terrible demons, terrible forgetters, and all Brahma rākshasas, it accomplishes all liberation, and constantly cuts off day and night, without doubt. If sesame, mustard seed, yogurt, ghee, and salt are mixed and eight thousand fire offerings are performed, then all obstacles, heretical guides, yakshas, rakshasa demonic influences, as well as poisons, opponents, and all enemies will be completely pacified. It will liberate from all fighting, debates, and disputes. It will become victorious over all weapons. It will grant victory over the opposing army, opponents, and all enemies. If sandalwood, rice grains, yogurt, honey, and ghee are mixed and eight thousand lotus fire offerings are performed, then in all villages, rocky mountains, towns, cities, and regions, within a thousand yojanas all around, there will be great peace. For the sake of protecting and saving all sentient beings, women, men, boys, and girls, it will be genuinely accomplished. All diseases will be completely pacified in all ways. All fierce wild animals, venomous snakes, and all untamed things will become friendly. The king and all those surrounded by the land and the queen's retinue will become auspicious and happy. If matamga, mustard seed, ghee, dragon tree flowers, and rice grains are mixed and eight thousand fire offerings are performed by lighting a fire on a crossbeam of an arka tree, then for places where it does not rain, the great nagas will then send down rain until it is desired to rain. It will completely ripen crops, trees, grass, tree gum, medicinal substances, flowers, and fruits. It will become perfectly and completely ripened. All the great naga kings and their retinues will become very happy, and they will send down rain as it is and as it should be in due time. If it rains too much, performing eight thousand fire offerings with the ashes of the same will completely pacify the excessive rain. If rice grains, go-la, mustard seed, and fierce seeds are mixed with ghee and a fire offering is performed, then it will repel all wind and hail. A great boundary will be set within a thousand yojanas.
