Or make it of copper, and also write down this Dharma teaching. If you place it inside, as soon as it is placed, it will be blessed into the nature of the seven precious jewels. The pennants, the stairs, the parasols, the wheel garlands, the auspicious signs, the umbrellas, the hanging bells, the banners, and all the nets of tinkling bells will also become the nature of the seven precious jewels. In all four directions, images of the Tathagatas will also abide. The precious stupa blessed by the blessings of all the Tathagatas, and the stupa and offering place of the essence of the relics, will become places of offering. The body images and stupas will also be fully protected by the gods of Akanishta, and will be fully taken care of by offerings. Then, the great chief of the Yakshas, Vajrapani, said this to the Bhagavan. Bhagavan, this Dharma teaching will become such a distinction of qualities. The Bhagavan said: It is the heart essence secret relic casket seal dharani blessed by all the Tathagatas. Vajrapani, therefore, this power is blessed by the distinction of qualities in this way. Vajrapani asked: Bhagavan, may I be granted to explain the Dharma teaching of the precious jewel casket seal dharani? The Bhagavan said: Vajrapani, listen, the bodies of all the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, who have passed away, have not yet come, are now appearing, and who have all passed into complete nirvana, are three: the Dharmakaya, the Sambhogakaya, and the Nirmanakaya. It is the Dharma teaching of the relic casket seal dharani of all three times. The Blessed One Shakyamuni said to Shakyamuni, "Well done, well done! You have, for the benefit of all sentient beings, placed such a treasure of Dharma in Jambudvipa, and blessed the stupa of the essence of relics." This is the vow and blessing of all the Tathagatas. Wherever this Dharani of the Seal of Relics is taught, or placed inside a stupa, or placed inside an image, the Tathagatas will constantly and continuously follow and abide there. Everywhere will be blessed by the blessings of the Tathagatas. Then, as the dharani is spoken, the old stupa, like a pile of rags, will appear as a stupa of the nature of the seven precious jewels, towering, exquisite, with wheels and auspiciousness. I, rejoicing in the words spoken by the Bhagavan in the world with gods and humans, manifestly praise them.
