Then, the Lord of Secrets, gazing upon those retinues, himself entered into the samadhi called the purity of space. As soon as he entered that samadhi, the three realms also trembled. Then, from the vajra of his own body, speech, and mind, which are completely pure, he extracted this mantra. Om! Homage to the king of secret mantras, by merely reciting it, the lands upon the earth will faint. The nagas will all be terrified, and pay homage to you, Lord of Secrets. Possessing compassion and firm faith, respectful and possessing bodhicitta, going to a place that pleases the mind, offering to the deity and the guru together, one with great diligence and wisdom, in a pleasant and delightful mountain cave, or garden, or lake, or region, in oneself and in others, having completely purified the mandala of the earth, and having well anointed it with scented water, having sat upon a comfortable seat, one should practice the Lord of Secrets. Otherwise, a rough solitary place, or a charnel ground, the house of Yama, tumultuous and with distractions, or held by a king and fierce, those from fearful places, are places for accomplishing the Victorious One. Those of weak intellect who appear at this time, generate the distractions and all the gatherings of this world. The nature of the power of attachment, not truly contemplating, that is a fault. It is like an illusory elephant. Is the great wise one! From the wisdom body, with wisdom, the emanation also abides in wisdom itself. After transcending the afflictions of samsara, in the fire of non-conceptual wisdom, the secret lord dwells well. Liberation, purity, is the cause of liberation, mantra form, Dharma lord, yoga of meaning, moment by moment from wisdom, illusory body like a magical illusion, when liberation is attained in the illusion itself, wonderful! wonderful! haha! Great hero! The terrifying one who has become the enemy of the nagas, the secret lord Vajrapani, victorious over afflictions, is terrifying, is the master who has conquered the three realms. Therefore, whoever is diligent should practice with great diligence. By refreshing the steadfast mind, is the victorious secret lord! Thereafter, the secret lord himself, in order to surely arise accomplishment, enters the samadhi called Vajra, arising from the Vajra of completely pure body, speech, and mind. On a square mandala, rely on the vase to practice. In the vase of supreme victory, fill it well with medicine and so on, wrap it with cloth and place it. If one practices from there regularly, peaceful and increasing accomplishments, and other accomplishments will also be achieved. Then, again, the secret lord, in order to make it unchangeable, enters the samadhi called Vajra, with this mantra that pacifies all poisons, surely extract it from the true Vajra of body, speech, and mind.
