The Essence Tantra of the Mind of All Tathagatas. The Essence Tantra of the Mind of All Tathagatas. In Sanskrit: Sarva tathāgata citta garbārtha rantra. In Tibetan: The Essence Tantra of the Mind of All Tathagatas. Homage to glorious Vajrasattva! Homage to youthful Manjushri! Of all the Tathagatas, the vajra nature of body, speech, and mind, is the body in which the supreme essence abides, beholding Vajrasattva. The wisdom body of the Buddhas, this mind with various forms, although it is free from extremes, is very famous in existence and samsara. Then Vajrasattva, addressed the Bhagavan as follows: Oho! Self-born Bhagavan! Lord of space, various bodies, sovereign of speech, king of vidya mantras, born manifesting from the unborn realm, guide of the six realms, you have spoken, drops fall from your mouth, Kekeru and Margada and, Spuga and the essence of stone and, five kinds of precious colors, adorn the wisdom mandala with colors. Other than you, there are fearful ones and, sons of the Buddha, faithful listeners and, retinues who tame beings. Then, the Bhagavan Shakyamuni, knowing the intention of speech, the wisdom of the Buddhas, made the collection of the supreme wisdom. The Tathagata said this, specially made this statement. If one does not see the effortless great bliss meaning, the co-emergent one, no matter how much practice and effort is exerted, it is meaningless like a child. Grasping objects is bondage, contemplating dependent origination is the second. Wanting meaningless experiences is also, the cause of bondage, is the third. Some smear themselves with the ashes of Erie, collect the substances of the powerful sky, the cause of bondage is the fourth. The introductory chapter is the first. In the nature free from extremes, how can the disease of grasping and being grasped bind? In the sky that is pure from the beginning, how can habitual imprints bind? In the nature of reality without arising or ceasing, how can the disease of cause and effect bind? In the wisdom beyond thought, how can the disease of conceptualization and investigation bind? Emaho! The realm of pure mind itself, the co-emergent bliss.
