It also serves as the accomplisher. However one modifies it, that is the extreme. Any view that falls into extremes, Is not self-awareness, other-awareness, or mind. It is not the two, conventional and ultimate truths. Self-awareness, dry intellect, And claiming to be the Middle Way that falls into extremes, That is the self-awareness of mind itself, And the incompatible side of the inexpressible, inconceivable. Separate from that, the inconceivable, Is the great wisdom of self-awareness. Generosity and other white dharmas, And the aspect of the generality of self-awareness, In the great wisdom of self-awareness, Method and what arises from method, Cause and effect, and so forth, Not even an atom of terminology exists. Because it is self-arisen wisdom, Defects such as desire also, Are not an obscuration to it, Like clouds in the sky. By the distinction of self-awareness and other-awareness, Sentient beings and Buddhas are divided into two. Self-awareness is like a cloudless sky, Other-awareness is like conceptual thought in the sky. Clouds and so forth are destroyed by the wind, The appearance is like a cloudless sky. For those who are free from other-awareness and conceptual thought, It is called a Buddha free from obscurations, It is merely self-awareness alone. For example, when a person looks at the sky, Clouds obscure the person's eyes, But the sky is not obscured in the same way. The first number is one, From other-awareness transforming into self-awareness, Purity is not liberation by others. Here, there is only self-awareness alone. That itself is knowing and certain. Completely purified from all defilements. The apprehended, the apprehender, method and wisdom, Are the inconceivable two. From the nature of body, speech, and mind, Liberation is emptiness and signlessness, Wishlessness and body, speech, and mind, Are the inconceivable three. Loving-kindness, compassion, joy, and equanimity, From the nature of earth, water, fire, and wind, It is certain as the number four, Joy and so forth are the same. The five Buddhas of the five families, The five aggregates and the five attachments and aversions, Are the inconceivable five. From the nature of the six perfections, The six objects, the six faculties, and so forth, It is indeed the inconceivable six, The numbers such as a hundred are inconceivable. Whatever the two, self-awareness and other-awareness, Have existed since beginningless time, They exist in the manner of body and shadow. Without self-awareness, other-awareness is needed, It is asserted in the time of ordinary beings, This is also great ignorance.

Capable. Not abandoning other-awareness, desiring self-awareness, Abandoning samsara and entering nirvana. Some say samsara is nirvana, With wisdom, discerning what to accept and reject. Such as these are the demons of view, Holding awareness has one hundred and ten. The Great Vehicle Sutra Pitaka has three thousand, The Hearers and Solitary Realizers have two hundred. All-pervading, Wrathful, and so forth, The demons of view are inconceivable. Self-awareness, from the beginning unborn, Emptiness, uncreated, spontaneously accomplished. Great bliss filled with taste, If one knows all of the three realms of samsara, The Buddha himself is in samsara, Samsara itself is nirvana. Separated from the demons of view, There is no self-awareness, nor other-awareness. Ultimate truth and conventional truth, both are abandoned, No mind, no space, no dharmata. No delusion, nor non-delusion, No vehicle, nor stages. No inferior, nor excellent, No wisdom, nor bliss. Not abiding in the middle way free from extremes, Abiding in the inconceivable. If one realizes and comprehends this, Not fearing, not fabricating accusations, Is the foremost of the Victorious Ones' sons, The best among all the Buddha-sons. Blessed by Vajradhara, And the place of offering for all the dakinis. Entering the ground of awareness-holders, One should also diligently train in equipoise. One should abide in the ground of awareness-holders, Having abided in the ground of awareness-holders, One enters the ground of Vajradhara. Abiding in the ground of Vajradhara, From the nature of the fifteen grounds, The two bodies perform the benefit of others. The power of others' actions and aspirations, Through the power of that, appearances arise, In the true nature, there is no cause for appearance. There are two kinds of stages, First, the guru's instructions, And up to abiding in the ground of awareness-holders. It is the general aspect of self-awareness, With dharmata as the object. Having become the ground of Vajradhara, The self-nature of self-awareness is, With object and subject, and so forth, The appearance of non-thought like space, The nature of all the stable and moving three realms, In that very way, Abandoning all equipoise and post-equipoise, Wherever one abides in the manner of illusion. The measure of the exhaustion of appearances, Times and transfers, hours and, Moments and instants in sequence, Faults such as mental sinking and excitement, Separated and abiding in solitude, Is the measure of the exhaustion of non-appearance, The measure of outer self-awareness is shown. No appearance, nor illusion,
