However, he had no sons, but only five daughters, all of whom were beautiful in appearance and endowed with intelligence and wisdom. At that time, the wife of that householder was pregnant, and the householder passed away. At that time, according to the law of the king's country, if there was no son, all possessions would be taken by the king. The king also ordered a minister to count all the property and possessions and then confiscate them all. The daughters thought, "Our mother's womb is uncertain, whether it will be male or female. If a daughter is born, then the property will also be taken by the king. If a son is born, then he will be the true owner of the property." So they pleaded with the king, saying, "Because our father has passed away and there is no son, the king is taking the property. Now, please hold back these possessions until our mother gives birth. If a daughter is born, it will be easy to confiscate. If a son is born, then he will be the true owner of the property." King Rabasarja was also upright and ruled the country with Dharma, so he did as the daughters requested. Not long after, after nine months had passed, a son was born. But he had no ears, no eyes, no nose, no tongue, and no limbs, just a lump of flesh with only male genitals. Therefore, his name was given as Majibila. After arriving at the Blessed One, he said to the Blessed One, "Blessed One, why is it that the son of that householder has no eyes, ears, nose, tongue, hands, and feet, but as soon as he was born, he became the owner of property in a very wealthy family?" The Blessed One said to the householder, "It is good that you asked these questions, listen carefully, keep them in mind, and I will tell you." The householder said, "Okay, I understand." The Blessed One said, "In the past, there was a householder who had two sons, one named Giving and the other named Discipline. These two sons were ashamed and conscientious from a young age, spoke honestly, always liked to give, and were the support of the poor.
