藏语:Khams mang po pa'i mdo。

The Sutra of the Many Realms The Sutra of the Many Realms In Sanskrit: Dhatubahutakasūtram. Homage to youthful Manjushri! Thus I have heard, once, the Blessed One was dwelling in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove of Anathapindika's Garden, the grove of Prince Jeta. Then, the venerable Ananda went alone to a secluded place, and having settled his mind, such thoughts arose in his mind: All fears that arise and occur are born from children, not from the wise. All epidemics, harms, contagious diseases, and conflicts that arise and occur are born from children, not from the wise. Then, the venerable Ananda arose from his meditation and went to where the Blessed One was, and having arrived, he bowed his head at the feet of the Blessed One and sat down on one side. Having sat down on one side, the venerable Ananda said to the Blessed One: Venerable sir, here, when I was alone in a secluded place, such thoughts arose in my mind: All fears that arise and occur are born from children, not from the wise. All epidemics, harms, contagious diseases, and conflicts that arise and occur are born from children, not from the wise. Ananda, it is just so, it is just so. All fears that arise and occur are born from children, not from the wise. All epidemics, harms, contagious diseases, and conflicts that arise and occur are born from children, not from the wise. Ananda, for example, if one sets fire to a house of dry reeds, a house of dry grass, or a pile of dry straw, they will all be burned. Similarly, all fears that arise and occur are born from children, not from the wise. All epidemics, harms, contagious diseases, and conflicts that arise and occur

All of those arise from children, not from the wise. Ananda, in the past, all fears that arose and occurred arose from children, not from the wise. All plagues, harms, epidemics, and conflicts that arose and occurred arose from children, not from the wise. Ananda, in the future, all fears that will arise and occur will arise from children, not from the wise. All plagues, harms, epidemics, and conflicts that will arise and occur will arise from children, not from the wise. Ananda, therefore, in the past, future, and present times, that which is accompanied by fear is the child. That which is without fear is the wise. That which is accompanied by plague is the child. That which is without plague is the wise. That which is accompanied by harm is the child. That which is without harm is the wise. That which is accompanied by epidemic is the child. That which is without epidemic is the wise. That which is accompanied by conflict is the child. That which is without conflict is the wise. Ananda, it should be known that fear, plague, harm, epidemic, and conflict arise from children, not from the wise. Ananda, therefore, the qualities of the child and the qualities of the wise should be understood. Having understood the qualities of the child and the qualities of the wise, the qualities of the child should be abandoned, and the qualities of the wise should be properly adopted. Ananda, thus should you train. Venerable one, by how much is one counted as a child? Ananda, a child is one who is not skilled in the elements, not skilled in the sources, not skilled in dependent origination, and not skilled in what is and is not the case. Ananda, by this much is one counted as a child. Venerable one, by how much is one counted as wise?

And is skilled in what is not the place. Ananda, by that alone, one enters the category of being called a wise person. Venerable sir, how is a wise person skilled in the realms? Ananda, a wise person is one who knows and sees the eighteen realms as they truly are: the realm of the eye, the realm of forms, the realm of eye-consciousness, the realm of the ear, the realm of sounds, the realm of ear-consciousness, the realm of the nose, the realm of smells, the realm of nose-consciousness, the realm of the tongue, the realm of tastes, the realm of tongue-consciousness, the realm of the body, the realm of tangibles, the realm of body-consciousness, the realm of the mind, the realm of dharmas, and the realm of mind-consciousness. Ananda, in this way, one knows and sees the eighteen realms as they truly are. Furthermore, one knows and sees the six realms as they truly are: the realm of earth, the realm of water, the realm of fire, the realm of wind, the realm of space, and the realm of consciousness. In this way, one knows and sees the six realms as they truly are. Furthermore, one knows and sees the six realms as they truly are: the realm of desire, the realm of malice, the realm of harm, the realm of renunciation, the realm of non-malice, and the realm of non-harm. In this way, one knows and sees the six realms as they truly are. Furthermore, one knows and sees the six realms as they truly are: the realm of pleasure, the realm of pain, the realm of joy, the realm of sorrow, the realm of equanimity, and the realm of ignorance. In this way, one knows and sees the six realms as they truly are. Furthermore, one knows and sees the four realms as they truly are: the realm of feeling, the realm of perception, the realm of formation, and the realm of consciousness. Furthermore, one knows and sees the three realms as they truly are: the realm of desire, the realm of form, and the realm of formlessness. Furthermore, one knows and sees the three realms as they truly are: the realm of form, the realm of formlessness, and the realm of cessation.
