忆念彼佛陀，莫舍菩提心，汝将无怖畏。 青年，汝当善持彼如来、应供、正等觉之佛名。善持之，善能通达之，则怖畏或惊恐或毛发悚然等，任何诸事皆不生于汝。如是宣说已，如莲花般明亮之释迦青年向薄伽梵如是禀白：薄伽梵，我已受持彼如来、应供、正等觉之佛名。薄伽梵，于我，彼等世界无有黑暗。薄伽梵，我见彼等世界及彼等如来、应供、正等觉之佛，譬如如来今为眷属说法。其后，彼眷属中，释迦青年如莲花般明亮者等众多人众， 为瞻仰薄伽梵，为作礼，为供养，为承事，为听闻此法类，聚集于彼眷属中之所有一万众生皆从座起立，将上衣偏袒一肩，右膝着地，向薄伽梵所在之处合掌恭敬，向薄伽梵如是禀白：薄伽梵，如来为我等之义利而宣说此法类，故薄伽梵，于我等，彼等方及彼等世界亦无有黑暗。薄伽梵，彼等世界及诸佛薄伽梵亦譬如现在如来说法。其后，以佛之威力，具寿舍利子从座起立，将上衣偏袒一肩，右膝着地，向薄伽梵所在之处合掌恭敬，向薄伽梵如是禀白：薄伽梵，何者之子或何者之女宣说此法类

Remember that Buddha, do not abandon the Bodhi mind, you will have no fear. Young man, you should hold well the names of those Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas. Hold them well, understand them well, then fear or terror or hair-raising, any such things will not arise in you. Thus spoken, Shakya Youth, as bright as a lotus, said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, I have received the names of those Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas. Bhagavan, for me, those worlds have no darkness. Bhagavan, I see those worlds and those Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, just as the Tathagata is now teaching the Dharma to the retinue. Then, in that retinue, Shakya Youth, as bright as a lotus, and many other people, To behold the Bhagavan, to prostrate, to make offerings, to serve, and to hear this Dharma category, all ten thousand beings gathered in that retinue stood up from their seats, bared one shoulder, knelt on their right knees, and bowed with folded palms towards where the Bhagavan was, and said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, the Tathagata has spoken this Dharma category for the benefit of us, therefore, Bhagavan, for us, those directions and those worlds have no darkness. Bhagavan, those worlds and the Buddhas, the Bhagavans, are also like the Tathagata teaching the Dharma now. Then, by the power of the Buddha, the venerable Shariputra rose from his seat, bared one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and bowed with folded palms towards where the Bhagavan was, and said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, whichever son or daughter speaks this Dharma category

Then, after hearing the names of those Buddhas, the eyes become pure, and in the ten pure directions of the world, those Buddhas, seeing those pure-eyed merits, what are they, O Blessed One? Even if reborn in another life, will they be separated? Or will they not be separated? The Blessed One said: Shariputra, any son or daughter of good family who has entered the Bodhisattva path, whose eyes are pure in this way, will become exceedingly pure in an unobstructed manner. Shariputra, do you see this full thousand beings? Shariputra, all these beings, by the root of virtue of holding the names of the Buddhas, even if each of them were allowed to possess a Chakravartin kingdom as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, and in the last life and the last body, they would perfect all the accumulations of Bodhi, and after one kalpa, they would all attain the unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, with the same name as the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, adorned with pure eyes. As soon as the Blessed One had spoken this prophecy to those sons of good family, this three-thousand great-thousand world realm shook in six ways: it quaked greatly, it quaked completely greatly, it trembled greatly, it trembled completely greatly, it roared greatly, it roared completely greatly, it swayed greatly, it swayed completely greatly, it flashed greatly, it flashed completely greatly, it stirred greatly, it stirred completely greatly. The earth-dwelling gods also exclaimed: Alas, friends, it is wonderful that these sons of good family, merely by holding the names of the Tathagatas, will fully grasp the unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, and knowing all dharmas as they are, will become Tathagatas who understand all meanings! Who would not have faith in the Buddha? They uttered such a sound. The gods of the retinue of the Four Great Kings, the Thirty-three, the Free from Strife, and the Joyful Ones.

以及，乐变化天众，和他化自在天的魔众，梵天众，梵天前导者，大梵天们，直到色究竟天的诸神，这些地居天神听到这个声音后，心生欢喜，极其喜悦，身心安乐，说了这样的话：“哎呀，朋友们，像这些善男子们，仅仅忆念如来的名号，就完全受持了无上正等正觉，并且如实了知一切法，通达一切义理，将成为如来，真是稀有啊！谁不会对佛陀生起信心呢？”说完这些话。然后，世尊告诉具寿阿难陀：“阿难陀，凡是善男子或善女子，对于已正确进入菩萨乘的，听到这个法门，受持，读诵，精通，并且为他人广为宣说，乃至书写在书本上受持，这些善男子或善女子，应当知道他们已经受到了佛的加持，并且比过去的胜者做得更多。应当知道他们不会遭受死亡的恐惧。他们不会恶劣地死去。他们不会因外来的伤害而死去。应当相信他们不会遭受水、盗贼、毒药和武器的威胁。”然后，天帝释提桓因知道了像这样对菩萨摩诃萨们的守护授记，为了受持这个法门，被一千个天子眷属围绕，在前面开路，前往世尊所在的地方，到达后，以头顶礼世尊的双足，绕世尊三匝，然后对世尊和所有被世尊 在未来时授记为无上正等正觉的众生，散布天界的旃檀香粉，天界的曼陀罗花和大曼陀罗花。

And, the gods of Joyful Transformations, and the hosts of demons of Others' Emanations Controlled, and the hosts of Brahma, and the leaders of Brahma, and the Great Brahmas, up to the gods of Akanistha, the earth-dwelling gods, having heard that sound, rejoiced and were exceedingly delighted and joyful, and having experienced mental happiness, they spoke these words: "Alas, friends, just by remembering the name of the Thus-Gone One, these sons of good family have completely taken up the Unsurpassed, Perfectly Complete Enlightenment, and since they know all dharmas as they are, and have comprehended all meanings, they will become Thus-Gone Ones, it is truly amazing! Who would not have faith in the Buddha?" Having spoken thus. Then, the Blessed One spoke to the Venerable Ananda: "Ananda, any son or daughter of good family who has properly entered the Bodhisattva Vehicle, who, having heard this Dharma discourse, holds it, recites it, masters it, and also extensively and correctly reveals it to others, and even writes it on a book and holds it, those sons or daughters of good family should know that they have been blessed by the Buddha, and have done more than the previous victors. It should be known that they will not experience the fear of death. They will not die badly. They will not die from external harm. It should be believed that they will not experience the threat of water, thieves, poison, and weapons." Then, Indra, the Lord of the Gods, knowing this kind of prophecy of protection for the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, surrounded by a full thousand sons of gods, clearing the way in front, went to where the Blessed One was, and having arrived, bowed his head to the two feet of the Blessed One, circumambulated the Blessed One three times, and then scattered celestial sandalwood powder, celestial Mandarava flowers, and great Mandarava flowers upon the Blessed One and all the beings whom the Blessed One had prophesied to be Unsurpassed, Perfectly Complete Enlightenment in the future.
