For the sake of beings, the hermit ascends this mountain, abides here, and lovingly looks in all directions. He can quickly pacify the suffering of the cycle of beings and send down the rain of Dharma. All the gods bow to him with devout hearts, he can liberate us from here. Those great courageous Bodhisattvas and the gods renowned for their great power have already fully enjoyed it. May beings dwelling on the summit of Mount Meru benefit and be happy! Venerable Bhagavan, if you have compassion for us, Venerable Bhagavan. In order to pay homage to the Bhagavan, to make offerings to the Bhagavan, and to enjoy Mount Meru, if in all these Saha worlds, whether it be a Mara, or Indra, or Brahma, or a Deva king, or a Naga king, or a Yaksha king, or a Gandharva king, or an Asura king, or a Garuda king, or a Kinnara king, or a Mahoraga king, Beings renowned for great power, renowned for great power, from heavenly sages to human sages, if all of them were to come here, then they would greatly benefit and bring happiness to us here. Then, the Bhagavan remained and smiled, and from the door of his mouth came rays of light of various colors such as blue, yellow, red, white, lapis lazuli, and crystal. Those rays of light departed and entered hundreds of billions of abodes of Maras, hundreds of billions of abodes of Indras, and the abode called Brahma, and the abodes of all the Deva kings, and the abodes of Asuras, and the abodes of hundreds of billions of sages, those rays of light entered all these Buddha fields, as many as there were. In those places, beings renowned for great power, renowned for great power, from those called Maras to those called sages, all those who were named, made them fully understand, from those called Maras to those called sages, and then from there they departed, to where the Bhagavan was, and to where those six Buddha bodies were, in a moment, an instant, a short while, they arrived here at the summit of Mount Meru. The Bhagavan cut off the emanations and spoke: In this Buddha field of mine, among all the hundreds of billions of Mount Meru kings that exist, I have said that this Mount Meru is the best and the most excellent. This Mount Meru is enjoyed by all the great assemblies.
