With body, speech, and mind, we will perform the practice of service for all sentient beings. We will not let them lack robes, alms, bedding, medicine for the sick, and utensils. We will completely liberate them from the fifteen fears of universal disturbance. What are the fifteen? We will completely liberate them from the fear of bodily universal disturbance. We will completely liberate them from clods of earth, sticks, weapons, poison, stones, hateful sentient beings, harshness, and those without faith. We will protect them from the fear of elemental universal disturbance. From the basis of suitable food, drink, medicine, and utensils, we will protect those who serve, relatives, donors, and patrons, who are of an undiminishing nature, from the fear of the universal disturbance of disease and enemies, and from the fear of the universal disturbance of all spirits and all enemies. From the fear of the universal disturbance of poison, the fear of the universal disturbance of kings, internal armies and external armies, and the universal disturbance of famine.

One should completely protect from the fear of strife, that is, those fifteen fears of all strife. Those who, in the present and future times, abide in what is adorned like the holy Dharma, such as monks, nuns, laymen, laywomen, and sons or daughters of good families who have faith, and those who abide in such a way that they prioritize ugliness, from what is called (ugliness) up to the cessation of meditative absorption, as previously stated, whether in the upper or lower part of the night, without sleeping, diligently practicing yoga, all those retinues, and the regions where they dwell, towns, countries, foothills, villages, the surroundings of royal palaces, and the places of monasteries, should be regarded as one's own family's home. One should completely protect from those fifteen fears of all strife. One should make them return. Wherever even one person diligently practices such virtue, or even if they stay there for one day and night, those regions should be regarded as one's own family's home.
