If you want to know what those are, it is that those foolish people do those things that are condemned by the Buddhas, the Bhagavat: they take full ordination before the age of twenty; they take with their own hands; they enjoy without examination; they do the work of cooking and boiling themselves; they possess gold and silver; they accumulate barley and grains, etc.; they buy and sell the foundations of houses, the foundations of fields, and the foundations of monasteries; they engage in the livelihood of vegetable gardens; they accept the foundations of houses, the foundations of fields, and the foundations of monasteries; they do not believe in the ripening of karma, nor do they have faith in the Pratimoksha vows, they cling to it, they are immersed in it, they consider it to be true, and they act in this way. They pretend to be renunciates, and in places where there are many people, they appear like naked ascetics. They praise the view of self. Because they show the view of self and appear like naked ascetics, they cause many people to join and abide in it. They slander the realm of the Buddha, that is, they slander the emptiness in which the Tathagata abides. Know that this is being condemned. Protector of the land, such beings will appear, they are neither householders nor renunciates, they will cause the doctrine of the Tathagata to decline. Then, the Bhagavat spoke these verses at that time: Monks are disciplined by the precepts, they delight in the place of peace and tranquility, they study the Pratimoksha vows, they are monks and Brahmins. Those monks who take the Dharma as primary, who have nothing, who delight in remote and solitary places, they are monks and Brahmins. They do not like idle talk, they have well studied the Pratimoksha vows, day and night they show great respect to the supreme individual. They do not plow fields, they do not trade, they do not seek gain from alms bowls and robes, those who strive without accepting offerings, they are the Shravakas of the Buddha. They do not show women, they do not gather with women, they praise the trees, they are the Shravakas of the Buddha. For the sake of food and drink, they do not engage in false deception,

Those who have become "De," should not rely on nuns. Just as sharpening sharp swords, know that women are like that. As it says in the Pratimoksha Sutra, one should abandon attachment to women. Those "De" walk from house to house for food, for drink, for clothing, but do not preach the Dharma. Monks should not look at women, so says the Fully Enlightened One. Who with wisdom would trust them? That is the realm of Mara. Those people say there is nothing, lying down like corpses. Therefore, the all-knowing Buddha does not praise clamor. All dharmas are lifeless and unnourishing, without husk or pith or essence. Believing in emptiness, that is the nature of a monk. Always possessing perfect diligence, dwelling alone in a solitary place, with a mind that has no reliance in the world, that is the nature of a monk. Like a lion, without fear, devoted to pure conduct, in order to be liberated from all suffering, the wise should meditate on the path. When searching for the eye and form, they will find consciousness. When searching for that thing, one cannot find what is being sought. It did not arise before, nor will it arise later, nor does it exist in the middle. With such meaning, because all dharmas are equal. Those "De" walk from house to house for food, for drink, for clothing, but do not preach the Dharma. The causeless "De" is good, those are what the Buddha taught. They do not transcend or destroy, their behavior is good, emptiness is without fear, they enter fearlessness. They do not destroy unbearable views, they do not destroy sentient beings. For all white dharmas, they abide very firmly. Those who are firm in the world, even having touched Nirvana, are suitable to be places of offering. Those who are shallow in wisdom, lazy, devoted to the inferior, with little learning, fond of evil, arrogant and base, are places of anger. Relying on a razor on their heads, changing direction with wood, wearing Dharma robes. Emptiness is meaningless, those wise ones do not practice. Slandering the Dharma.

Of the Great Vehicle. It is not praise but a statement. Whoever teaches this Dharma, Just as it is taught, Is completely attached to the dark side. That will lead to going to bad destinies. After the Blessed One had spoken thus, the venerable Dhṛtarāṣṭra, those monks, and the world with gods, humans, asuras, and gandharvas rejoiced and praised what the Blessed One had said. The Great Vehicle Sutra called "The Questions of the Noble Dhṛtarāṣṭra" is complete. Translated, revised, and established by the Indian Abbot Jinamitra and others, and the reviser, the monk Yeshe De. The Great Vehicle Sutra called "The Questions of the Noble Dhṛtarāṣṭra."
