纵然从山顶坠落，若能忆念观世音自在，亦如太阳般安住于虚空。 纵然金刚之山，为杀害之故降临于头顶，若能忆念观世音自在，亦不能恼害如毫毛之孔。 以杀害之心手中持 weapon，纵然为众多怨敌围绕，若能忆念观世音自在，彼即刻转为慈爱之心。 纵然杀戮逼近，为阎罗人之所支配，若能忆念观世音自在，彼之weapon将断为碎片。 彼若为木或铁所制，以枷锁或重物捆绑，若能忆念观世音自在，束缚将迅速断开。 咒语与力量，药物与明咒，僵尸与鬼怪，身体恐怖，若能忆念观世音自在，从何处遣放，彼即返回。 夜叉、非天、鬼怪、龙焰，以夺光者所围绕，若能忆念观世音自在，亦不能恼害如毫毛之孔。 獠牙利爪极可怖畏，纵然为凶猛野兽所围绕，若能忆念观世音自在，亦将迅速向各方离去。 目光可怖如火焰般闪耀，纵然为具毒之眼所围绕，若能忆念观世音自在，亦将极为迅速地变为无害。 纵然出现善良之闪电且浓厚，从云中降下闪电与冰雹，若能忆念观世音自在，彼即刻迅速寂灭。 见到为众多百般痛苦所折磨，为众多痛苦所逼迫之有情，以智慧善妙之力，观世音啊！ 故救度天人等众生者，以神变力已达彼岸，以方便与智慧广大 之所教导，十方众多有情一切，无余于一切刹土亦极显现。 众生之恶趣怖畏，以及无暇之处与有情地狱，畜生以及阎罗所围绕

Holding a weapon in hand with the intention to kill, even if surrounded by many enemies, if one remembers the Lord Avalokiteśvara, that immediately turns into a mind of love. Even if killing approaches closely, and one is under the control of a human executioner, if one remembers the Lord Avalokiteśvara, that weapon of his will be broken into pieces. If it is made of wood or iron, even if bound by shackles or heavy objects, if one remembers the Lord Avalokiteśvara, the bonds will quickly be cut apart. Mantras and powers, medicines and vidyā-mantras, zombies and spirits, terrifying bodies, if one remembers the Lord Avalokiteśvara, from wherever they are sent, they will return. Yakshas, asuras, spirits, blazing nāgas, even if surrounded by those who steal radiance, if one remembers the Lord Avalokiteśvara, they will not be able to harm even a pore of hair. Sharp fangs and claws, extremely frightening, even if surrounded by fierce wild animals, if one remembers the Lord Avalokiteśvara, they will quickly go in all directions. Eyes terrifying, radiating light like flames, even if surrounded by poisonous eyes, if one remembers the Lord Avalokiteśvara, they will very quickly become harmless. Even if auspicious lightning appears and is dense, and lightning and hail fall from the clouds, if one remembers the Lord Avalokiteśvara, it will immediately and quickly subside. Seeing sentient beings tormented by many hundreds of sufferings, and afflicted by many sufferings, Avalokiteśvara, with the power of wisdom and virtue! Therefore, the protector of beings including gods, having gone beyond with the power of miraculous abilities, with vast methods and wisdom, by teaching, all the many beings of the ten directions, without exception, are also greatly manifested in all realms. The light that is stainless and free from defilement. The light of the sun of wisdom, without dimness. The light that is not obstructed by clouds. In the worlds, it is bright, clear, and beautiful. The discipline that arises from compassion is renowned. The virtuous qualities, the mind of loving-kindness, like a great cloud. Pacifies the fire of afflictions of all living beings. Rains down the nectar of the Dharma. Even if a hero goes to the terrifying battlefield of fighting and contention. If one remembers the lord Avalokiteśvara, Then immediately, all enemies will be pacified. The sound of clouds and the sound of great drums. The sound of dragons and the sweet melody of Brahmā. The mandala of sound, the perfection of going beyond. Remember the lord Avalokiteśvara. The pure bodhisattva, the lord Avalokiteśvara. Do not doubt, remember, remember. This guide of the world is also like that; there is nothing like it in the three realms. Whoever hears the name of Avalokiteśvara, their merit will never be exhausted. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Dharanimdhara rose from his seat, draped his upper garment over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, pressed it to the ground, and with palms joined, bowed towards the Bhagavan, and spoke thus to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, which Bodhisattva Mahāsattvas are the chapters of Avalokiteśvara? The chapter on the manifestation of the miraculous powers of the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva Avalokiteśvara, the Universal Gate. Those sentient beings who have heard this manifestation of the miraculous powers of Avalokiteśvara do not possess inferior roots of virtue.
