Thus I have heard. At one time the Blessed One was dwelling in a measureless palace, adorned with the utmost splendor of the seven jewels, possessing great light that filled immeasurable worlds, with extremely distinct abodes, with limitless arrangements, with an unbroken circle, a sphere of activity that had truly passed beyond the triple world, arising from the supreme roots of virtue of that which had transcended the world, a characteristic of the most distinct consciousness of mastery, the abode of the Thus-Gone One, followed by a community of immeasurable Bodhisattvas, gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, humans, and non-humans, wandering limitlessly, abiding in the great joy and bliss of the taste of Dharma, dwelling near to those who perfectly accomplish all purposes for all sentient beings, separated from all harm of the stains of affliction, having completely abandoned all maras, surpassing all arrangements, arranged by the blessing of the Thus-Gone One, arising assuredly from great mindfulness, intelligence, and realization, being the vehicle of great quiescence and insight, entering from the great gate of liberation, emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, dwelling supported by the arrangement of the great king of jewel lotuses, adorned with limitless collections of qualities. The Blessed One possessed intelligence that thoroughly comprehended well, practiced universally, was without duality, supremely devoted to the Dharma without characteristics, dwelt in the dwelling of the Buddhas, attained equality with all Buddhas, thoroughly comprehended unobstructed realization, possessed irreversible Dharma, was not robbed by the sphere of activity, was inconceivable.
