Without characteristics. Form and, sound and, smell and, taste and, touch and, the characteristic of dharma is without characteristics. Eye consciousness and, ear and, nose and, tongue and, body and, the characteristic of mind consciousness is without characteristics. Eye contact and, ear and, nose and, tongue and, body and, mind contact's characteristic is without characteristics. The characteristic of feeling arising from eye contact is without characteristics. The characteristic between feelings arising from mind contact is without characteristics. The characteristic of the perception of form is without characteristics. The characteristic of the perception between dharmas is without characteristics. The characteristic of intention towards form is without characteristics. The characteristic of intention towards dharmas is without characteristics. The characteristic of intention towards mind is without characteristics. Earth and, water and, fire and wind and, space and, the characteristic of the realm of consciousness is without characteristics. Desire and, form and, the characteristic of the formless realm is without characteristics. Conditioned and, unconditioned's characteristic is without characteristics. Thus, whatever is the nature of whatever dharma is spoken, and those dharmas by which it is spoken, and the nature of that speaking, and not speaking, the Buddha's dharmas are so delightful, but if those childish ordinary people, who do not have hearing and do not understand, hear it, they will be afraid, panicked, and frightened. Because they are frightened, they will fall away from the wisdom of omniscience. For those, the world with the gods will be sad, because there is a continuous stream of suffering in samsara. Therefore, they develop desire for the Buddha's dharmas, and for the sake of the meaning of the Buddha's dharmas, they strive to make offerings to the Blessed One. They offer to the Blessed One with offerings that surpass the offerings of the Thirty-Three (त्रयस्त्रिंश,trayastriṃśa,Thirty-Three). They bow their heads to the feet of the Blessed One, then circumambulate the Blessed One three times, and then sit to one side. Having sat to one side, those gods free from strife praised the Blessed One with verses: Victor, you see the aggregates as empty, the realms and sources are also the same, the city of the senses is devoid of characteristics, all are you, the capable one.

You should observe as it is. The truths of the wise in the world are two: you should observe for yourself, not hear from others. These are conventional truth and ultimate truth; there is no third truth. Whoever generates faith in the Sugata, for the sake of happiness, the Victorious Ones, for the sake of beings, for the benefit of the world, taught the conventional truth. The six realms of beings that are taught, beings in hell, animals, hungry ghosts, asuras, humans, and gods, the lion of men (referring to the Buddha) established the conventional truth. Low castes as well as high castes, the homes of the rich and the homes of the poor, groups of slaves as well as groups of servants, groups of women as well as men and hermaphrodites, whatever differences there are among beings. The incomparable you taught the world, and after the wise have understood the conventional truth, for the benefit of the world, taught it to people. For beings who rejoice in this in samsara, the eight worldly dharmas will not arise for them: gain and loss, pleasure and displeasure, praise and blame, happiness and suffering. When gain is found, attachment arises to it; when it is not found, there will surely be disturbance. What has not been taught otherwise should be known in this way. The eight diseases will harm their continuum. Whoever speaks of ultimate truth for conventional truth should be known as having mistaken minds. Impurity spoken of as purity, suffering spoken of as happiness, selflessness spoken of as self, impermanent dharmas spoken of as permanent, rejoicing in this, abiding in signs, those people, if they hear the Sugata's teachings, will be afraid and, not understanding as it is, will abandon them. Those people, having abandoned the Sugata's teachings, beings will experience unbearable suffering in hell. Those people, even seeking improper happiness, children will experience the eight sufferings. Whoever, with an undeluded mind, properly understands the teachings that benefit the world, like abandoning an old snake skin, completely abandoning it, will transcend all existence and become peaceful. All these dharmas are empty in nature, emptiness and signlessness are the ultimate truth; whoever hears this and generates joy, those people will attain unsurpassed enlightenment.
