The grass of the Sangha, or trees, or flowers, or fruits, or light, or anything that can be measured, neither sells nor trades, nor does she use it to support her family; however, for those who claim to possess superior human qualities that they do not have, this is the third greatest thief in the world. Bhikshunis, any thief who has a hundred followers, or a thousand followers, or leads a hundred or a thousand to steal, to break into houses, such a thief as mentioned before is still small. Among thieves, anyone who steals the grass, trees, etc. of the Sangha, as mentioned before, is also small. Anyone who claims to possess superior human qualities that they do not have, in the world including gods, demons, Brahma, shramanas, and Brahmins, and among beings including gods and humans, is the greatest thief. Here, anyone who has not become an Arhat, but claims to be an Arhat, that is a thief in the world including gods, and it should be said that she is a person whose discipline is corrupted. With corrupted wisdom, after the body is destroyed, beings will be born in hell. Then, the Blessed One, because of this event, because of this topic, because of this thing, because of this occasion, convened the two Sanghas, in order to allow the Bhikshunis to fully understand, and that the precepts I have established can be perfected. Like this, for the first Parajika, the process of establishing the precepts should be described in detail as before. Also, any Bhikshuni who has not realized, nor fully understood, regarding superior human qualities that are without limit, without holiness, without special attainment, without knowledge, without seeing, without abiding in contact, yet claims to know this, to see this. If she wants to be purified from those transgressions that have occurred, whether she is asked later or not, she says this: 'Venerable, I said I knew because I did not know, I said I saw without seeing,' thus admitting that she was false, that she was deceiving. Except if it is out of arrogance, that Bhikshuni is also guilty of a Parajika and should not reside together. Also, any Bhikshuni, starting from 'the four Bhikshunis'...

At that time, it is not appropriate to leave the four requests unmoved. Whoever is fully ordained, it is the same as before, up to the intention of being a Bhikshuni. What is it that is not directly known? It means not directly knowing the five aggregates, such as form. What is it that is not completely known? It means not completely knowing the five aggregates, which are the same. "Human Dharma" refers to the five hindrances. "Superior" refers to those who have abandoned them. "End" refers to Nirvana. "Noble" refers to the Buddhas, the Bhagavan, and the Shravakas of the Buddha. What is meant by "attaining distinction"? It refers to the four fruits of a Shramana. Whoever attains them is said to have attained distinction. What is meant by "knowing"? It means knowing suffering, its origin, its cessation, and the path. What is meant by "seeing"? It means the wisdom of seeing suffering, its origin, its cessation, and the path. What is meant by "dwelling in comfort"? It refers to the four Dhyanas. In the Vinaya of the Noble Dharma, only the Dharma of seeing is said to be dwelling in comfort. "In the absence of" refers to that matter. "In the absence of nature" refers to that person. What is meant by "knowing this"? It means knowing suffering, its origin, its cessation, and the path. What is meant by "seeing"? It means seeing the gods, Nagas, Yakshas, Khagaras, Gandharvas, non-humans, Mahoragas, Pretas, flesh-eaters, Kumbhandas, Rakshasas, and body Rakshasas. What is meant by "self-pledge"? It means speech. "He who has committed a downfall" refers to that matter. What is meant by "desiring purity"? It means desiring to be free. "At another time" means at another time. "It can also be asked" means by others. "It can also not be asked" means that regret, remorse, and remembrance arise from oneself. Thus, the venerable ones said: "I say that I know what I do not know," which means knowing the aspect of the mind. "Saying that I have seen what I have not seen"ེ་ means: it is by the consciousness of the eye. གསོག་གསོབ་བརྫུན་དུ་སྨྲས་སོ། ། means it is a category of words that have been spoken. ཟེར་ན་ means if it is said. མངོན་པའི་ང་རྒྱལ་མ་གཏོགས་ཏེ་ means except for manifest pride, it is to put aside manifest pride. དགེ་སློང་མ་ means whoever has the essence of a bhikṣuṇī, just like before. དེ་ཡང་ means it is a superfluous word that indicates it closely and indicates it universally. Just as the first defeat was spoken of there, so too should it be spoken. How does one become fallen in that? In the verse: "Changing perception and monasteries, and in homes, spreading mats, holding one's own characteristics, and showing oneself nearby." Furthermore, whichever bhikṣuṇī changes perception, and endurance, and desire, and intelligence, and thought, and view, and says, "I see the gods," becomes defeated. Likewise, if she says, "I see the nāgas, and the yakṣas, and as before, even the decaying bodies," she becomes defeated. Thus, this chapter of the verse should also be spoken by transforming the word bhikṣu, which appears in the Vinaya of the bhikṣus, into the word bhikṣuṇī. The fourth defeat is complete. Explanation of the fourth defeat.
