Among the Saṃghāvaśeṣa, the first, the Saṃghāvaśeṣa of emitting semen is explained. Among the Saṃghāvaśeṣa, the first, the Saṃghāvaśeṣa of emitting semen is explained. Mixed speech together, saying to come, each rejoicing separately, always staying together, if said thus, it becomes a defeat. From the Nāgas and Yakṣas, as before, until those with decaying bodies, mixed speech together, saying to come, each rejoicing separately, always staying together, if said thus, it becomes a defeat. Vinayavibhaṅga, fifteenth fascicle. Summary: emitting semen, sexual speech, attendance, mediation, houses, large houses, and the groundless, a little, Saṃgha division and its subsequent factions, defaming families, and mental displeasure. The Buddha, the Bhagavan, was dwelling in Śrāvastī, in the Jeta Grove, in Anāthapiṇḍika's Garden. The regular practice of the venerable Utkala was that, in whatever town or city he resided nearby, he would rise early in the morning, make noise in the monastery, sweep well, smear with cow dung earth, and then, outside the monastery, wash his two feet, dry his two hands, chew a tooth stick, put on his lower garment in the morning, take his bowl and robes, and enter that town or city without guarding his body, without restraining his senses, without maintaining mindfulness, for alms. Having completed his alms round in that town or city, having done the work of eating, returning from the later alms round of food, putting down his bowl and robes, washing his two feet, he would enter the monastery in order to properly place them inside. If his mind was defiled by desire, completely entangled by lust, he would do whatever was possible with his own limbs, grasping with both hands and striving, thereby emitting semen. Then, many monks, walking and going in the monastery, went to the monastery where the venerable Utkala was, and having arrived, together with the venerable Utkala, they became manifestly very pleased and very satisfied.

After making various compliant remarks, they sat down on one side. Having sat down, many monks said to the venerable Charka: "Venerable, can you endure? Can you live? Can you live in comfort? Are you not tired from begging for alms?" Venerable ones, I can endure, I can live, I can live in comfort, and I am not tired from begging for alms. Venerable Charka, how can you endure, live, live in comfort, and not be tired from begging for alms? Venerable ones, in whatever village or town I dwell near, I get up early in the morning and clean the monastery, smear it well, and plaster the ground with cow dung and mud. Outside the monastery, I wash my feet, wipe my hands, throw away the toothpick, put on my skirt in the morning, and taking my bowl and robe, I go to that village or town to beg for alms. After begging for alms in that village or town, I finish eating, and after returning from the afternoon alms round, I put down my bowl and robe, wash my feet, and enter the monastery to settle down properly. If my mind is completely entangled with desire, I make my own limbs usable, grasp them with both hands and strive, and after ejaculating semen, I am free from disease, free from all suffering, and live in comfort, and I am not tired from begging for alms. Venerable ones, that is how I can endure, live, live in comfort, and not be tired from begging for alms. Those monks neither praised nor opposed what he said. Without praising or opposing, they went to the Blessed One, and after going to the Blessed One, they bowed to the Blessed One's feet with their heads, and sat down on one side. Having sat down, many monks reported the matter in detail to the Blessed One. Then, the Blessed One, regarding the occurrence of this matter

This is the beginning, at this time, the Bhikshu Sangha was assembled. The Tathagata, seeing the advantage of two meanings, assembled the Bhikshu Sangha. That is, so that my Shravaka disciples can fully understand everything, and that the precepts I have established can become a good foundation for learning. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, knowingly commit offenses, knowingly commit offenses, know but do not commit offenses, commit offenses at the right time, do not commit offenses beyond the right time, commit offenses that are in accordance with the meaning, and do not commit offenses that are not in accordance with the meaning. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, use water offerings to prevent offenses that are not in accordance with the meaning. Therefore, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, know when to commit offenses that are in accordance with the meaning, therefore, the Buddha, the Bhagavat, rebuked the venerable Charka, saying: Charka, is it true that you have done such an unseemly thing? Venerable, yes. The Buddha, the Bhagavat, said, it is not in accordance with the behavior of a Shramana, it is not in accordance, it is not appropriate, it is not in accordance with the rules, this is not something that a renunciate should do. Charka, I have taught the Dharma of liberation of mind and liberation of wisdom in order to make desire free from desire, in order to make hatred free from desire, in order to make ignorance free from desire, why have you done such an unseemly thing? Foolish person, with which hands do you receive offerings given out of faith from Brahmins, householders, and wanderers, why have you done such an unseemly thing with those hands? Foolish person, it is better to grasp a black snake whose venom spreads quickly, whose venom is strong, whose venom is sharp, with both hands, than to grasp one's own limbs in such a way, the Buddha condemned him in this way. Charka, what do you think? In that case, have you not regarded your own body as worthy of offerings? Venerable, yes. Then, the Bhagavat condemned him in various ways, and said to the Bhikshus: Bhikshus, therefore, the benefit
