And it descends even more. The musical instruments of the gods also emit sounds. From the bodies of all those in the mandala of the retinue, rays of light arose. In front of the Blessed One, there appeared a seven-jeweled mansion, radiant, pleasing to behold, exceedingly exquisite, delightful, with four pillars erected, four doors open, possessing four staircases, blazing with light, with four great precious jewels blazing like the sun at the four corners, adorned with numerous nets of pearls, jewels, and precious stones, beautified with many bells, adorned all around with many silk banners, and beautified with clusters of various flowers. This earth also shook violently in six ways, emitting sounds of quaking and trembling, becoming high and low. All the abodes of the gods were illuminated by light, and all who dwelt in the abodes of the gods were stirred. The four great kings were also stirred. All the abodes of the mantra-holders were also stirred. All the abodes of the gods blazed, blazing intensely everywhere, becoming a single flame, and all the obstructing heretical spirits were terrified, wailing and scattering in the ten directions. Then, from the urna hair of the Blessed One, rays of light shone forth, illuminating all the realms of the ten directions, illuminating all the Buddha-fields, stirring all those Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, and then dissolving back into the crown of his head. Then, all those Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, gave praise to the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha Shakyamuni, saying, "Well done! Well done! Blessed One, well done! Well done! Blessed One, you are going to see the Tathagata Jewel Good Light Splendid Pure Abode, to pay homage, to make offerings and service, the time has come to depart. Please extensively recite the dharani called 'Great Jewel Vast Palace Extremely Well Abiding Secret.' Blessed One, that dharani has great power and great benefit. That dharani has been blessed by the Tathagatas of the past, and whoever hears it, recites its name, or even touches it with their hand, will not turn back.

will be transformed, and will manifestly awaken to the unexcelled, perfectly complete Enlightenment. Then, the Blessed One, understanding the requests made by the Buddhas, the Blessed Ones, who had come from all the Buddha-fields of the ten directions, again emitted billions of hundreds of thousands of kotis of rays of light, and summoned the assembly that had arrived, saying: "Son of good family, come here! This is the sign that the Tathagata has come." Then, the Blessed One himself arose from his seat, and in the center of that storied house, a vajra lion throne appeared. On top of that throne, a jewel lotus, radiant, beautiful to behold, pleasing to the mind, with a golden stem and a red pearl lotus heart, appeared, and the Blessed One sat upon it. As soon as the Blessed One sat down, this great earth shook greatly. The Blessed One also entered into meditative equipoise on the samadhi called "Great Jewel Purity." All the retinue held their breath, and all the mandalas of the retinue were arranged in the center of the sky above. A great multitude of retinues, a great array, the great blessing of the Buddha, various manifestations, retinues of many Bodhisattvas, as well as gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, garudas, kinnaras, mahoragas, humans, and many non-humans, and retinues of many billions of vidyadharas, together with the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, and Indra, Brahma, and all the world-protectors, and the four Great Kings, arrived. All of them went towards the eastern direction, and having passed beyond countless Buddha-fields equal to the sands of the Ganges River, billions of hundreds of thousands of kotis, they saw the world called "Jewel Lamp." By the power of the Blessed One's miraculous abilities, in an instant, a moment, a twinkling, they arrived in that world. As soon as they arrived in that world, they descended from the sky and went to the presence of the Blessed One, the Tathagata Jewel Goodness Radiantly Pure Land. Arriving there
